Team must like the taste of defeat ....watching all that film from Dukes loss and now this poor first half effort. Bye bye double bye....from "Pow" to "Ow"...., we look like a team that will be a first round loss in Brooklyn.

That is the most one on one ball I have seen this team play in a long time. Seems like the offensive strategy was to have the guards shot fake, penetrate and get stripped or blocked. If we were trying to draw fouls, it should have been apparent early on that wasn’t happening.

We are just not a very good basketball team. The end. OVERALL, we are...just not today Tom...I am as positive as anyone on this board, but we just don't have a lot of evidence of this being a good team at this point. I count only three decent wins (Rutgers, Richmond and Duquesne). They had an easy non-conference schedule and any easy conference schedule (with Duquense being the only good team they have to play twice). I am still really optimistic about the talent on this roster and confident that Mark will eventually get the most out of it. That said, they are not a good team this year. Don't deserve the double bye and I'm not expecting them to find some sort of "magic" in Brooklyn. I hope I am wrong. Maybe having no expectations will work to their advantage? Go Bonnies!

I don’t care what anyone says...31-12 FTs. I think the refs knew it was Senior day, too

Looked like the loss to the DUKES was a blow to the stomach that took the wind out and we couldn't recover.
We were SO out of sync today. Explorers did what they do best, press and steal the ball (10). Disrupted our offense except for the come back runs at the end.
They only hit 6-22 treys to our 6-15. So the trey ball was not a factor.
Their + 13 pts on fast breaks, + 2 rebs and their KILLER 16 more points from the charity stripe was tough to watch.
Refs let them play and they are an aggressive, physical go for the steal team that deserved the win.
For SENIOR DAY they doubled their attendance and had lots to cheer about.
JAREN kept us in the first half and was our best player on the court. 15 pts on 5-7 and 1-2 treys, 9 boards with 2 assists AND NO turn overs. Solid game.
OSUN 5 rebs against a depleted poor rebounding team?
Hats off to La Salle who would be 5-0 against us in our last 5 games if not for KYLE's late shot to win by 1 last season.
1 min into the game I had to MUTE their announcers!
There are no gimmes!

Tough loss...I am putting everything in perspective with regards to this season. We lost games we should have won early and had some blowout losses at home but let's face it, based on preseason expectations we are about where the most optimistic would have put us. Now we are back to scoreboard watching as the Dukes are tied in Losses and could be even by the end of the night. If we go 1 and 1 to finish I think we have a good chance of backing into the #4 spot. Schmidts patience is becoming very evident. Planutis benched early and the 2 freshman not getting the benefit of the doubt. Either you do your job or someone else will be playing. These guys are still young and better days are ahead but unless we start making some shots we will have a difficult time in Brooklyn. This team is missing the guy outside that can shoot consistently and a banger up front. Let's win Wednesday and let the chips fall where they fall.

Yeah...those "refs"...must be from Philly right? Just like those refs from Pittsburgh who have been screwing the Bonnies for years......
Again....the refs aren't from a specific city nor are they "A10" refs. Bottom line - Lasalle was WAY more aggressive than the Bonnies - took it to them without any fear. That's WHY they got to the line more than the Bonnies. And...how'd the Bonnies shoot from the line when they did get there - not good.
Pretty uninspired effort - really laid an egg. The leader of this team needs to take charge of the game. Didn't happen this game, and hasn't happened in games throughout the season. Really hesitant. So many times when the Bonnies were given open shots, gave them up and turned it over. Time and time again.
Honestly, still in the drivers seat for the #4 seed. Need to win out, but probably still control their own destiny.

I hate that 3 man weave at foul line extended. Case in point we are loosing by 10 with 4 minutes left and we are finally shooting and missing with 3 seconds left on shot clock. After watching Amadi and Plauntis last 2 games I am baffled as to why Carpenter is not getting a shot. He can't be worse and battled Topin at Dayton with guts and effort.

DUKES squeak out their 2nd consecutive win. Down Patriots 81-78. Too bad AJ Wilson fouled out with 4 mins left down 1. 4 GM players fouled out. In 4 days the DUKES make up 2 games to tie us.

All I can think of is how Phelps tried to get Beatty to be on Bonas, didnt realize he was already a junior!

Lofton needs to assert himself more offensively. Too many times down the court there were wasted possessions where Lofton either didn’t touch the ball at all or just once to pass it to someone else. That’s why we had 32 points with 11 mins left.

All eyes on Kingston, RI @2pm. A Rhode Island loss could sink the Bonnies to a #7 seed but a Ram victory still puts us in the chase of the elusive double bye. If somebody knocks UD out of the conference tourney on Friday the A10 Championship is wide open. The more I look at this league the more obvious that it's the Flyers and everybody else. Say what you want about our weak schedule but we have 10 wins and counting. As am aside I thought we looked better with MJ #4 on the court. Loftin looks worn out at times.

The last couple / few games there seems to be much more one one one happening on the offensive end. Way too much dribbling. When I consider when the Bonnies are most effective it is when they run their motion at top. It was very effective during the Adams, Posely, Mobley and Stockard era. When the Bonnies are intentional on getting the ball to OO they are also effective.
As mentioned by others the FT discrepancy really stuck out to me. The Bonnies should have crushed LaSalle on the boards as well. You look at Th use two areas and have to wonder if the desire was there yesterday.
Tom Gola arena has not been friendly to the Bonnies if I recall. Never easy in that building.
My wife thinks I am a lunatic as I watch or listen to almost every game. I grew up going to Bonnies basketball camps and my Dad is a graduate of SBU. I always catch them when they come to Davidson to play. Love the passion around Bonnies basketball.
