From the Philly Daily News:
"Atlantic City has informed the Atlantic 10 that it will enter the bidding to bring the A-10 basketball tournament to the shore in 2007, after the current deal with Cincinnati runs out."

That would be great for the A-10 and its fans.

I think that the A10 tournament should be in more of a central location than Cincinnati or Atlantic City.
For example, Washington DC is within 300 miles of 8 A10 schools and within 400 miles of everyone except St. Louis. If it was in someplace like DC, it would be more of a neutral site for everyone (except when GW is playing).
Also, DC and the surrounding areas have plenty of hotels and other facilities for fans and the games could be played at the MCI Center.

I know that it may no longer be realistic, but I dont think anything matched when we played the tournament at the Palestra. When I was the manager for Baron's squad, I remember sitting right next to the coaching staff, and not able to hear a thing they said. That place is what college hoops is all about.

::)Atlantic City, Cincinate, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, etc. To be honest I don't like any of these locations. My vote is Buffalo! It would be great to have the championship game at the Reilly Center but that won't happen. The HSBC Areana is a great facility. Grant it, it is in the MAC and UB backyard but we are a higher visible conference than the MAC. Let's go Buffalo!!!!!!
