Wow, it is amazing how this website has gone from Bona basketball to all the crazy shit people post here. Can we move to different topics instead of beating this topic to death - (no pun intended)? Folks, we are never going to agree on this topic. Move on!! Dr. DiPerro died from COVID. Most schools are requiring students and staff to wear masks, encouraging them to get vaccinated, etc. This issue is not unique to Bonas. If you feel the need to post about a topic, here are a few suggestions: when is Bonas bringing back football? How much eligibility does Charles Perry have left? Finally, I hope when the b-ball season begins only vaccinated people who have proof they have been vaccinated can attend home games in person. Stay safe. Wear masks, social distance. I hope all our fans are allowed to enjoy Bona basketball, free of draconian, neo fascist edicts and mandates. All are welcome at Bonas. We live in the Land of Liberty, not in the Land of Oppression. And yes we all continue to mourn the death of our beloved President, the President who truly saved Bonas, and put us on the road to future success. Lets leave his great legacy out of this robust debate - please. |

I just read an article stating all Seneca casinos - Niagara Falls, Buffalo and Salamanca will require all customers to wear masks at their indoor events - gaming, concerts, etc. Oh my God, where is the public outcry? Why aren’t you Bona faithful bitching about how the Seneca Nation is infringing on your rights. They can’t tell you what to do!!!!!
Please! This is about public health. Stop the spread. If you don’t want to follow the rules - wear a mask, get vaccinated, etc., then stay home. I have done my part to attend events at Bonas or elsewhere. In fact, I signed up for the Bona Community Day on August 19th. I will be wearing my mask! Stopping the spread.
I am not surprised that some of the faithful on the Bandwagon get so upset for following, what they believe is good policy, and you people bitch about it!! Other universities have similar COVID policies as Bonas. Why should Bonas turn their heads against good policy? I never knew all of you had medical degrees and you know better what Bonas should do with Covid.
Actually, I hope Bonas implements a policy stating that any student who is unvaccinated can’t attend in person classes. They will have to either attend via an online platform or get assignments some other way.
Can we now talk about Bonas football and Charles Perry eligibility or do we need to continue with this bullshit?

I just got an email from work. They are requiring me to wear a mask at all times when I return to the classroom! Why?
My rights are being taken away from me!! They can’t do that. The world is falling apart. Immigrants rushing into the country not vaccinated and not wearing masks. Totally unfair! Afghans will be brought into this country.
Sister Margaret will be the new president at SBU!
Season ticket prices increased. Way unfair.
Why do I need to wear a mask? No such thing as COVID. It is all fake. They are controlling my life.
The federal government says I need all these old time vaccines before I can enter school. Can they do that? Rights being taken away from me.
I had to wear a mask at the Billy Joel concert, Damn you Erie County, You can’t do that.
Bring football back to SBU!

Why isn’t the Skellar open more often.
Price of draft beer isn’t $.25 anymore. Government is getting out of control.

I am a proud and loud Bona grad. When I went to Bonas I had to take three classes of Philosophy and Theology. I loved it!!

Enrollment is over 500 again. Shit, I thought with COVID mandates the school would close.
