Dresser shutting down?

Anyone else hear the horrible rumor that Dresser(Seimens) Olean's largest employer will be shutting down manufacturing in 6 months to a year due to recent government changes?

I did hear this. Heard they are moving. Not sure of the reason.

Heard later its just manufacturing in Olean, still a huge blow.

They are downsizing the Olean operation not completely shutting it down. Still not good news.

Don’t think it’s govt changes,it’s the fact that the world is rapidly moving away from an oil based economy

Read the article. Maybe Siemens could do the same project in Olean and help make Olean a wonderful place to live and grow up in and raise families in.

Yes....they have talent to do,and a large facility ......they have decided to fold in olean.
