He lived on Third Fal when I was at Bona…interesting. These are unproven allegations. They may or may not be true. He has not been defrocked by the Vatican court. There are many cases of priests be falsely accused of misconduct, and having to hire their own legal counsel to restore their reputation (a very difficult task after being smeared in secular press). One prominent case in the Diocese of Buffalo relating to Fr. Roy Herberger, who was publicly accused in the media by an individual and his counsel. Fr. Roy hired his own counsel who proved conclusively, that the allegations were patently false, since the time lines of accuser were faulty by over a decade! Fr. Kevin deserves the presumption of innocence. Pray for him! |
