So Chris Moses here we go again down this rabbit hole. My example proves masks don't really work all that well - but please wear a mask to protect yourself - I love it! But mandating all wear a mask isn't going to work. We have two years of proof of that. In Florida where masks are not required we have lower infection rates that the socialist state of New York, or maybe equal. You do you but stop requiring everyone else to believe as you do and stop demanding things that are proven to not work.

The multiple UN-vaxxed managers claimed to have received exemptions by SBU. Maybe being a part of the MBB program helped them in receiving said exemption. Anyways, their selfishness is causing them to ruin what was supposed to be a special season.

Teetering on a really bad situation here, from a basketball standpoint of course, if the games don't get made up then the resume isn't strong for an at-large. IF the games do get made up then we will see a brutal stretch with multiple 3 game weeks against quality league opponents .... Stay with me for a minute, if you will. Maybe this works in our favor....We lost low level games at NE and GW. Games if we win do us no good and if we lose, we are toast. If the conference puts emphasis on rescheduling the Bonnies key games, then that's all that matters. We need UD and SLU to be rescheduled. Don't care about a road tilt with GW. There is space in the schedule to these games, but it obviously wouldn't allow us to have the typical rest. Nonetheless, this team showed they can win high level games on short rest. Our club just got a month off to rest and get right. For a team with minimal depth, I think this will help us significantly down the stretch.

Is it time to truncate the season, or to extend it?
Truncate is what happened last year, as the ncaa tournament went on as scheduled. If the ncaa tournament is delayed for maybe 2 or 3 weeks, then we and all others can close to have a full season, and that is my preference, but probably not happen.

Anyways, their selfishness is causing them to ruin what was supposed to be a special season. Then my understanding is that they will not be attending games in the RC as mandated by the University - all entering must be vaxxed and show proof. See ZERO exemptions to this rule and hope the University enforces this. As for my belief on why the University instituted the proof of vax mandate - potential fines. If enforced, it's a potential $1,000 fine per occurrence. By rough counts, 60-70% of crowd has been maskless. So lets just say 3,000/game - that's $3M/game in fines. Hands down this is why they went to the vax mandate and I'm happy about it.

This doesn't seem accurate. I thought that all students had to be Vax'd to attend St. Bonaventure ... Somehow "multiple" managers were able to sidestep that requirement. HMMMMM - Sounds Fishy ... That being said - I still see where many posters STILL do not understand that vaccinated people can still GET IT and SPREAD IT. This VIRUS is not political - it does not care if you were VAX'd or not. The VAX merely helps reduce the symptoms if and WHEN you get it (As well as natural immunity gained thru having had the virus already). Going forward Therapeutics is the answer my friends. Sooner or later we are all going to get it. We need to stop letting this issue divide us as a nation. Gee thanks its not like every damn post made lately says this or anything. Everyone knows the vaccine isn't 100%. Literally everyone. Dude - It's not about the VAX being 100% (It's actually 0% in terms of protecting you from getting it) ... AGAIN - It doesn't matter if you are VAX'd or UNVAX'd - you still can GET IT and SPREAD IT. But yet you post as if you are on some higher moral ground - banging away on your VAX drum. Now go back and read a few posts if you believe "literally everyone knows" ... Sure doesn't read that way. Here's the way the convo goes when the data shows that the Vax'd are getting it at the same rate as the UnVax'd - Uhhhhhh - Uhhhhhhh - it's because you weren't boosted. Yeah - that's the ticket !!! Get another booster shot and you definitely won't get it.

So my son is 44 years old and had 2 shots plus booster he got Covid last week but all he had was a runny nose. His 2 young children age 1 and 2.5 got it and had a fever and runny nose. Omnicron while contagious is not as severe. Also if you are up to date on shots you have further protection. I am in early 70’s and have all the shots and been going to gym since 11/20 with no Covid. Your health, genes, and vaccinations all are a factor. Politics has caused unnecessary death and panic.

The horse is dead. Good grief, you can stop beating it. No one is even really trying to argue with you, you are arguing with yourself and asking for common sense. What does that say? Also, no caps were needed to make my point because I'm not hyper emotional.

No Horse to beat son - Just stating facts that you refuse to acknowledge. Sorry if CAPITAL LETTERS offend you - for someone who likes to attack others on this forum, you sure are awful sensitive. PEACE & GO BONAS

Would it be possible to keep the Covid, CDC, vaccination, etc. comments under one thread? You know, for all the people who come to the bandwagon seeking medical advice instead of asking a doctor.

So, for what it's worth, played golf yesterday with a friend who has had all three shots, the booster and Covid TWICE. C-mon people - we all know that if we'd let this thing run its course it would have been over a year ago and none of this crap would be happening (except perhaps a second season of Omicron/flu). Blaming the unvaxxed doesn't hold water any more. The vaxx is good for some but worthless for others and the oversell is fearmongering at its best. Shame on Bona's for falling into this trap. Good on Bona's for doing everything possible to protect the students. So, you see no one is wrong and no one is right. It's just an unfortunate crappy situation all around. Your sample size of one is a highly convincing point…

St Louis jumped quick and found a replacement game as Pitino and his Iona Gaels will head there. Nice addition against a possible at large Iona team! Well done for the A-10
