Always sorry to see someone leave before his time is up and without accomplishments that meet his potential. And I hope this does hurt our ability to bring in high quality foreign players as now both of our Northern Europe recruits have moved on after limited success on the court and I presume without a degree, and maybe not good things to say. One thing about him, I thought he was supposed to have elite leaping ability which combined with his 6’8” height offered the prospect of more rebounding and shot blocking. But I never remember a single instance of him showing elite leaping ability on the court. Does anyone else? I mean he could get off the floor okay, but nothing out of the ordinary in my view. Am I wrong? (And damn, if only that put-back shot versus Duquesne had been a fraction of a second sooner!) Actually, this was last year at a practice, I saw him dunk taking off from just inside the foul line. He did have a nice one in a game this year also. He was very, very athletic.

He would make athletic moves that would surprise you. I am sad to see him go, his game needs development but as a redshirt freshman he would’ve. Wish he woulda stuck it out here. After Flowers was moved to the starting lineup, he was seriously the only offensive threat off the bench at times
