Interesting conundrum. Root for the double bye, or the Quad1 win if there’s a shot at NIT going into the finals. Missing the top four is no longer four games in a row. The above is moot. Need to win the A10 tournament. Nothing else is relevant. |

Dukes led most of the half. VCU's top scorer Shulga is out injured. They hope he can play at Dayton. VCU Billups sprained his ankle just before the buzzer. Looked bad as he could put no weight on it.
Both teams shooting poorly. VCUs 8 TOs hurt them.

Huge game for us tonight - Duquesne at VCU it would really benefit us if Duquesne could pull it out for us. They've been playing better lately so who knows Please explain why we want Duquesne to win. We beat VCU twice… lost to the Dukes twice. VCU now is are only Q1 win… barely. Others answered…. The double bye would be nice The “Q1 win” is as useless as the g in lasagna |

The table has been set for us to get the Top 4 double bye. There is not a chance in hell that VCU goes into Dayton on Senior might and wins.

Stunner for sure... you had to think that was one that VCU was going to handle.
On another note, Duquesne is now playing some of its best basketball of the season... they could be a handful in Brooklyn.

Dukes pull off a stunner, putting a huge amount of pressure on VCU (now 11-6) this coming Senior night Friday at Dayton with both us and UMass on their heals, but the Dukes and UMass on our heals. Bonnies gotta win out, that’s all.

If we don't win both...we could drop 2-3 spots in the rankings as Dukes own the tie breaker and VCU would still be a game up.

Loved watching VCU shatting the bed last night. Not counting my chickens yet but I’m feeling very good about securing the 4 seed.
Only downside is that we probably won’t play VCU in the tournament now, would love to go 3-0 against them
