I run into Erik every now and again. We live a couple of miles apart. Not a bad guy for a Canisius grad (and a former Griffin mascot, to boot).

That was a night of joy in Hinsdale turned quickly into sadness. Don Hurlburt was a special talent capable of putting up big numbers, as he did on that occasion.
I was shocked by Tom Oakley's sudden passing -- it hit hard so close to home. From all accounts he was a fine player and an even finer student and person.
