Congrats to all the seniors, thanks for choosing St. Bonaventure and best of luck for future successes! If you want to be depressed, visit the Billikens’ board. They say BONNIES are 12 point favorites.

There are similarities between St Louis and GW. Both are at the bottom of the conference with 4-13 conf records. Both put up lots of points (Bilikens # 4 ppg) but are #14 & #15 (St Louis) on points allowed.
St Louis just lost to Dayton while scoring 83 points. Jamerson & Hargrove combined for 21 pts. They beat URI at their place putting up 94 pts and had 102 pts AT La Salle.
If our D is unable to contain them this could replicate our loss to GW.
Parker is their top scorer at 16 ppg hitting treys at 43%.
GW was very successful aggressively & quickly collapsing on CHAD. They will most likely do the same and HUGHES is looking to pad his steal #s.
They make their FTs (#3 @ 78%) & convert TREYS at 37% (#4) producing high scoring games.
The strengths and weaknesses of the Billikens & GW are almost mirror images.
You can throw the point spread out the window because we never know whether Dr Jekyll or Hyde will show up.

Whenever the Bonnies are favorites I am petrified, I much prefer the Brown and White being the underdog. From Canisius, Fordham at home, LaSalle and George Washinton I have become paranoid of being the favorite. Hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Go Bona's forever, through thick and thin.

Looks like we'll be a 6 to 8 seed depending on the outcome of a few games on Saturday. With a win, we'll need a little help from Duquesne (a loss) to attain the 6 seed. 6. Duquesne 9-8 7. St. Bonaventure 9-8 8. Saint Joseph’s 8-9 9. George Mason 8-9 Saint Louis at St. Bonaventure, 12:30 (USA) Davidson at Saint Joseph’s, 1:00 (ESPN+) George Washington at Duquesne, 2:00 (ESPN+) Richmond at George Mason, 2:00 (USA) Thanks to No1stunna: bonabandwagon.proboards.com/thread/18615/current-10-mens-standings-tiebreakers

Assuming (Big IF) we win our first game on Wednesday, who would people want to play in the quarters? VCU, UD, RICH, UMass or LOY CHI? I'd go with VCU because of the injuries...

St. Louis has scored many points these past two games and they will be no easy opponent if they remain hot from the floor - our often questionable defense will need to step up today or we will have a free for all on our hands.

Worst case scenario (we lose today and DUQ/GM/St.Joes win) : Possibly drop to 9 seed ? Not sure ...
Best case scenario (we win today and DUQ/GM/St.Joes lose) : 6 seed
Most likely scenario (favorites win) : (BONA/DUQ/St.Joes - win and GM loses) : 7 seed
TOP 5 are locked in (#1-2 Richmond/Loyola still up for grabs)
In a 4 way tie @ 9-9, how would that shake out ?

From SBU Athletics St. Bonaventure can slot anywhere from 6-9 in the seeding for the upcoming Atlantic 10 Tournament based on Saturday's results. A Bonaventure win coupled with a Duquesne loss (vs. GW) would result in SBU being the No. 6 seed. If both of those teams win, SBU would be the No. 7 seed.

5 pts in 6 min. vs. worst defense in league--and a team also missing top scorer. Banks started over Assa.
Update: now 7 pts in 9 min vs. worst defense, the usual no cuts or plays except for one give and go (had forgotten that play existed) with Chad and Mika.
