Steve Curran was one of 3 coaches interviewing at Canisius this week. If he gets the job could we see Assa or Barry or even Kyrell transfer there? Would any of our assistants go there? Schmidt vs Curran would be fun! twitter.com/lebronstein |

I would rather see Curran coaching Bona instead of Canisius. I think he's going to make a good head coach. He has the right temperament and he seems to be able to recruit. Maybe Schmidt gets sick of the new rules and environment and quits.

Right let Curran cut his teeth and learn at Canisius and if all goes well we could bring him here to replace Schmidt when the time comes.

I like Curran though and wish him the best Seems like Jim Christian would be hard to beat out for the job |

Go Bonas! Wolf - I don't ever remember any technicals on the Bonnies bench (Coach or AC's), Schmidt or anyone else. I could have missed one, but I watch most of the games. I actually wish Schmidt would get one on occasion. |

I want and hope he gets the Canisius job! Let’s make the rivalry stronger and hopefully he can build them up. Western NY needs more good basketball!

Coach Schmidt got one T in his first year at Bona. I think it was one of the times he threw his play board down at his feet.
He did that 2 or 3 times his first year here. Usually to show disgust to players after a bad play.
I think he works the refs well.

If Canisius, Siena, Buffalo and Niagara have to remain on our schedule until the end of time, then we should root for their success.
It does us no good to win or lose to a team ranked in the 200 or 300s. Not overly confident in CC or NU being consistent players, but we really need Buffalo and Siena to get back to being Q2 road games.
