Liking that 40% from 3-point range on high volume of shots. Hopefully that translates to this level.
Go Bonas!

Olean Times Herald article “Hinton seeks to prove he belongs at Bona & A-10.” Highlights from article. — Credits Jalen Adaway for his interest in Bona. ““He came to the runs and at the time, I think he was in the G League for the Spurs,” Hinton said of meeting Adaway in the summer of 2022. “So we were just chopping it up and I was just learning about St. Bonaventure. So they had been on my radar kind of early on.” — In JUCO, Hinton stood out with averages of 14.2 points and 3.2 assists on 40.6% field goal shooting, 39.7% from 3 and 79.8% at the free throw line. www.oleantimesherald.com/newsletter/hinton-seeks-to-prove-he-belongs-at-bona-a-10/article_2215ce96-44ab-11ef-8d25-9f31508674eb.htmlArticle provided by BigCat has Jonah’s JUCO coach stating “he improved every single week and every single game.” In has first 5 games at Panola, Jonah averaged 9.4 ppg and shot 30.8% from 3s. In his last 5 games, Jonah was the team’s leading scorer averaging 17.5 ppg and shooting 40.5% from 3s. Has some impressive accomplishments. — Help lead Panola to #10 ranking on final week of regular season. — Honorable mention JUCO All-American. — Was Panola’s leading scorer during conference games averaging 16.0 ppg. It is very rare to see a freshman leading JUCO team in scoring. Jonah has been the Bonnies best shooter from workouts and pickup games, Has deep range. There are videos of him hitting shots off logos. He is listed as a combo guard, but is much better at SG. Does not have Dasonte’s play making skills.

Based on that interview Hinton seems like a likeable, focused young man who will be easy to root for
I particularly liked this: “When I came on my visit, it was a great vibe. Everything that I wanted in a school as far as it being kind of tucked off, not a whole bunch of people, a spot where everybody gets in the gym...."
we hear so much how that's a negative in recruiting, but clearly it depends on the person. It can also be a great reason to come here
