Welcome JAXON! SCHMIDT is assembling a very athletic squad. Does this mean we are out on BANKS?

Trying to narrowing it down, we now need a rim protector plus a rebounding 4 type. This also may indicate that our pace may be faster as speed kills defensively and steals lead to fast breaks. This name seemed unknown to most of us. Might be a good surprise.

Seems like Jaxon has moved around a lot. 3 schools in 3 years. I hope he has found a home in the Enchanted Mountains.

Although I have no inside information, something tells me a 7 ppg scorer from a 7-25 team ranked 300th in kenpom isn’t moving onto a new school because ‘home is where the money is’.

He played all of 6 minutes in their one league tourney game, which they lost by 25...averaged 18 minutes a game previous 3 games, all lopsided losses... of course, he COULD be a diamond in the rough...

6’6” Jaxon Edwards — Valparaiso 5th leading scorer 7.3 ppg, 2nd leading rebounder 4.9 rpg and 5th in minutes 24.8 mpg. His overall stats are hurt, as he played a little more than half the game. — Among starters has the 2nd best FG% 40.3%. Much better shooter from 2 pointers (43.8%) than 3s (32.4%). By a considerable margin attempts the least number of 3s among starters. — Very good with taking care of the ball has the least number of turnovers among starters — From watching Dunga’s video and attached video, a part of his game that stands out is his athleticism. Need to checkout athletic move at 50 second mark of attached video. By a significant margin Jaxon led the team in blocks (40). During conference games he is 4th in the Missouri Valley in blocks, which is really impressive considering he is just 6’6”. www.sports-reference.com/cbb/schools/valparaiso/men/2024.htmlwww.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnKuu9dUW9g

GREGMITCH70, any updates on how JOHN HAYES is doing ? Yes, continues to improve, slowly--wife posted a photo this weekend of him in hot tub--for first time--and he got out a bit woozy. But rehab continues. He gets a lot of family visitors and very much up and around, looks "normal" in pictures but a lot behind the scenes not viewed....
