It is a fun exercise. With $15 I chose Lanier, Nicholson, Hagan and Palmer. Without money and needing a SG had a rough time choosing between (Michael Burnett and Paul Hoffman). Both had almost identical scoring averages as a sophomore, junior and senior. I went with the exciting athleticism of Burnett.

Kevin Houston is an obvious omission. Kevin is an obvious player I would try to put on my team.

I go with AN, Mr G, Glen H and Mark Jones, and any scrub on the sidelines. We will score 80 plus points a game (Mr G with 3 points now allowed) and hopefully allow less than that.

I think you gotta have Lanier no doubt, beast center, no one compares. Then ya know, I know its so expensive but a playmaking, facilitating PG like Jaylen Adams is perfect to pair up. Like having the best QB and the best TE.

That's 11 bucks and I gotta go bargain shopping around them

I can’t see a greatest Bona team without including Tom Stith. I can see the argument over the bigcat
The scoring and rebounding is up front.
Marques controls the court, and, along with Rooney, can hit the three.
Rooney was at the time the highest rated shooter/scorer Bonnies had ever recruited.
It didn’t work out….. but hey, that’s my two cents.

This is fantastic, and a ton of fun. But here’s an alternative debate to include in the process - given the cost assigned these guys, who is the best “bargain”? An argument could be made it’s Lanier even at the highest cost of $6 - he’s just that much better than anyone else. My nominations for others are Wright and Palmer at $1, or George Carter or Courtney Stockard at $3.
I could spend all summer discussing these questions, interrupted only by news of our next commitments.
