Miles Rose listed as a Sophomore I’ve been dreading this. I really didn’t understand how he got to keep the redshirt after playing that 1 game. It never really made sense to me. Chance Moore also listed as a senior. There was question there regarding his first season at Arkansas. |

Chance Moore also listed as a senior. There was question there regarding his first season at Arkansas. Perhaps Bona is still appealing the red shirt. But as I noted during the season: Why did Schmidt risking Rose losing a full year by playing him one game--and then never putting him in the entire rest of year even once despite the many games where we trailed and led badly near end, or even to take a shot at giving us a boost earlier in game? Perhaps Schmidt fell they could get away with the redshirt if only played one game. OR he saw very little from Rose in practice and figured it was not losing much if he lost a year. But if lost his redshirt--would have been nice to see more from him. |

Reality is it may not matter....players move on so effortlessly these days not expecting to see a 4 year player let alone a 5 year player ever again.

After yesterday’s haul, I think I am suffering from withdrawal. I keep checking the threads and am disappointed when I don’t see a new player to read about. Spoiled? Unrealistic?

I hope we use all of the available scholarships and I hope we add another big, least someone who can play the 4 and even the 5 if we go small ball. Then I hope we add a “shooter” if anymore are out there lol

Then I hope we add a “shooter” if anymore are out there lol They have added shooters and another big. Where have you been?  ? Folarin is the newest big that they added and looks to be athletic and can run the court. They have added players with better shooting percentages than last year's players. Also, incoming frosh 6'9 Ebrahim Kaba is a shooter with NBA range. Duane Thompson who sat last year is supposedly a shooter. Then the addition of three new players that can supposedly shoot. |

At the moment it is early and hard to judge still of course but I get the feeling that this roster will struggle at times to score but I think they will be good defenders. Maybe we get back to winning 60-58 instead of what we saw last year |
