dont forget CHANCE MOORE. he's a keeper. GOOD CALL - I did forget him / I could see him starting at the SF spot. Going to be some real battles in practice this year for sure.

Whom ever steps up and consistently hits 3s would be a key way to earn a starting role. This team could be challenged behind the arc.

Is Council more of a scorer than shooter?

Is Council more of a scorer than shooter? From all accounts - he is a scorer - not so much a sharp shooter. He is a physical guard able to over-power NEC level backcourt competition @ Wagner, much like Pride did at Bryant. Appears to be a more vocal leader though (so I am told).

If this team wins big this year, it won't be because of their offense. In addition to being offensively challenged, the depth at PF and C seems worrying. We will need significant contributions from Thompson, Kaba, Folarin or Wedlow to be competitive in the A10 this coming year.

This team will not "win big" this year... my hope is that we can keep most of this group together for another year in 2025-2026... I'm fully expecting a sub-.500 season... there is some talent here, but not enough to make any serious hay.

The only way this team wins big is consistent shooting and scoring. Last years team Shot very poorly-played very bad defense-made bonehead fouls and turnovers at crucial times and still won games they shouldn't have. If they shot just an average team percentage they would have won a few more games. I really don't think that it comes down to the PF and C. They need good guard play and consistent shooters. Mika, flowers, pride and the crew looked too slow against other teams with good guards. Also, when bona's stopped running the offense through Venning they did seem to play better. I don't know how the coaching staff can rebuild a whole new team but they did land some guys that appear to be consistent shooters. I think this team needs contributions from every position on regular season game ONE.

Most seasons we have played a 3 at the 4 position. And last year was the first time in a long time we had a decent backup center, who likely will be our starter this season. As others have said here, the Bonnies usually roll or stumble based on offensive play of the guards/wings. We have plenty of depth and options at the 1, 2 and 3 this season. Let’s hope we play hard/smart on D … and a couple guys can knock down threes consistently because we have more athleticism than in past years. I see us being a .500 team in the A10 and hopefully gelling/improving by mid to late February— something we did no do last season.
