Just a bit early, but I noticed the tournament runs for 5 straight days, Wednesday thru Sunday. Last year, was Tuesday thru Sunday, with Friday have no games. I liked that format

That format was horrendous, both for fans and teams alike. Good to see order has been restored.

I agree with fjs, having on off day on Friday was preferable to me also.Having a day of rest in the middle of the tournament more closely approximated regular season play, which the teams were used to, even if it benefited a lower seeded team by giving them a breather they might not have earned. If I was attending as a fan I might not want a free day, but hell, the tourney is always in a major city where you can find something to do.
