Arizona State beat BYU in football and the fans stormed the field early on a change of possession. They tore down the goalposts even and it took 15 minutes to clear the field so BYU could run one last play.
The home team was not penalized

For clarification they did not tear down the goal posts. The posts are taken down by the ground crew for safety reasons when fans rush the field. I was still confused why no penalty was assessed for this though. Even when it because clear that time needed to added to the game more fans continued pouring into the field. That never even fully cleared the field and many fans just stood along the sidelines for the final play. Not to mention their coach was screaming in the face of the officials after the decision was made.

Only one school has ever gotten a win stolen from them for any storm-related activity (and no, the garbage explanation that some fan took the ball still doesn't suffice either. Absolutely pathetic officiating). Everyone else can make a drunken scene with time on the clock (remember, the time expired in our case) and they wait an hour for them to clear the field. Only at Bonas do you get your win taken away.
