Marshall's Inman suspended By Ben Hunt, The Parthenon June 16, 2005
(U-WIRE) HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- After being arrested on a charge of driving under the influence, Marshall University football player John Inman was suspended by head coach Mark Snyder.
Inman was a reserve player last season on Marshall's offensive line and was a possible started this season. The sophomore from Knoxville, Tenn., will be suspended for the Herd's opener against William and Mary, Sept. 1.
"I am disappointed in John," Snyder said. "Anytime one of our student-athletes makes a poor decision, it is very discouraging. This is a matter that we take very seriously and are addressing it in an appropriate way. Unfortunately for John and the Marshall football family, he will be suspended for out opening game against William and Mary."

So, if Marshall plays 10 games this year, Inman is suspended for 10% of the games. If Relph is suspended for 10% of the games this season, we would be looking at a 2-3 game suspension. It's good to look at similar situations, but I think the past 3 years has put Bona in an entirely different position than 98% of the NCAA.
