The dates are Saturday and Sunday, July 30 & 31, and it is open to the public to view if they wish. And if you want to see some great basketball, I would recommend it.
They have 42 teams signed up, with games starting at 9 AM Saturday, going until 10 PM. And on Sunday they start at 8 AM and play until Noon, with an NCAA style tournament until 4 PM.
Here is a list of the teams and their first round games:
9 AM Greece Olympia vs Bradford Olean vs Williamsville North Jamestown vs Williamsville East Spencerport vs Lakeshore Greece Athena vs Warren Greece Arcadia vs Albion Victor vs Altoona
10 AM Kenmore West vs Depew Honeoye Falls-Lima vs St. Mary's (PA) A Lockport vs Southwestern Campbell-Savona vs St. Mary's (PA) B Cassadaga Valley vs Genesee Valley Panama vs York Caledonia-Mumford vs Youngsville
11 AM West Valley vs Jasper-Troupsburg Whitesville vs Oswayo Valley St. Mary's (NY) vs Camden East Rochester vs Fillmore Hammondsport vs Marion Walsh vs Canisteo Harley-Allendale vs Cuba-Rushford
Games will be held at 3 Reilly Center courts, 3 Richter Center courts and Butler Gym.
And one last note, I'm told Niagara Falls was scheduled to be here for the camp also, but they wanted a discount, and didn't get one, so they withdrew. Guess the $ 75 bucks a kid was too steep for them. Would have been interesting to see them play.

I think that was a mistake not giving Falls a discount, because that would have helped us in the recruitiment of their players like 6'8 Tyrell Lynch who Bonas already offered.

Sorry, but I hardly think a kid is going to make a 4-year college decision based on his daddy getting a $10 discount to a 2-day basketball camp. Besides, a discount would be considered an extra gift to a recruit, wouldn't it ?

I was just saying it would be nice to get one of the best teams in the country to be at your campus. Any inroad Bonaventure could make in recruiting would be great.

Thanks for the heads-up, Fox.
Some in the Bona community will remember the St. Mary's (PA) coach, Brice Benson. He's trying to rebuild a Dutchmen program that's been lost in the shadow of crosstown rival Elk County Catholic for a long time....
