Today the A-10 officially becomes a conference of 14, with the addition of Charlotte and St. Louis. In an interview (link below) A-10 commissioner Linda Bruno comments on changes created by adding 2 new teams. Here is a summary of changes to scheduling and A-10 tournament: 1. The A-10 tournament will remain a 12 team tournament. Certainly appears the 2 teams at the bottom of the standings will be excluded from the tournament. 2. The division format (east and west) will be abandon. 3. Teams will continue to play a 16 game conference schedule. Each school will play each team once and play 3 teams twice. "Several factors went into decision, regarding which teams play opponents once or twice, including, but not limited to traditional rivalries and geography." 4. Name change will not occur, conference will remain the A-10. 5. Hopefully Solomon turn things around and it will be 2 teams other than the Bonnies, who will be left out of the A-10 tournament. story.scout.com/a.z?s=47&p=2&c=391943
