I don't think we had any scholarships available and he would have had to pay his own way but we wanted him...make no mistake about that !

He could have had Rodney Hannah's scholarship; either we wanted Hannah more or we were not his first choice!

Talk about going to one extreme to the other, Ivy league to Cinncy and all their scandals. I guess I didn't realize how sought after Ryan was, for Cinncy to want him he must be the real deal. I can't imagine the staff not keeping a ship open for him if he wanted to come to Bona's, its not every day that we out recruit programs like USC & Cinncy. Therefore I have to believe we were not his first choice.

Pettinella went to Penn for academics, but found he was not compatible with the slow pace of the Penn offense. He wanted a more uptempo program and Cincy was what he was looking for.
