Is there any one who knows if there is going to be midnight mayhem this year and if they are having when it will be??

If they are going to have one, I would assume it would be Friday, October 14th as practice can officially start on Saturday, the 15th.
However, with that "Bona Legends Night" on October 15th, that might be serving as a replacement.

I hope they decide to do both of them in the same weekend. It would be a great way to tie together the current players with the past ones. It would afford the legends the opportunity to see the current players and maybe even offer some insight/coaching tips. They could probably even do some sort of contest (i.e. free throw shooting or 3 point competition) or even have an alumni game at Midnight Mayhem. The possibilities are endless.
Please say that this is not a replacement!

I believe a new rule went into effect this season that teams could practice the evening before the first offical day, so teams didn't have to do a "midnight" madness - they could do a 7:00pm Madness. Anyone else remember reading that?

Anyone else remember reading that? Either way, they should keep this as a tradition. It's a fun event for the fans to watch and it really gets people excited about bonas bball. |
