Letters have already been mailed to BAF contributors to solicit them for ticket purchases for this game. The letter was well worded from a marketing perspective and I like the fact that it arrived in July. Tickets are available in a wide variety of price ranges. I hope there is a good response for this game from Bona fans to show some support for the resurgence of the program. This should be a well-hyped game. Certainly, this will be one of the highlights of the non-conference slate with the Mountaineers coming off a great run in the tourney, Gansey being in his last year there and Pittsnogle returning after pulling out of the NBA draft. Finally, this will be the early season focal point for Tyler Relph in his old backyard trying to help SBU beat his college of choice when he started his collegiate career.
I ordered four.
Go Bona's!!

WVU has no real inside presence. I'd worry about Gansey on the drive, but for the most part, you guys should just get in their faces and not let them have the open 3. This game is definitely winable if you can keep them from getting hot.

Would love to see a sellout OSB, but I have to be pessimistic on this one. Game should have been on a Saturday, not a Wednesday night in late November. It's one I have to pass on, I know that. Hate to miss any games, but I just can't swing this on a weeknight, and many others in Olean will also pass for the same reason.

The game is a 7 PM start and SBU will be running buses from both Olean and Buffalo.

Its really not that bad of a drive for a night. I have made the drive to Olean plenty of times on a work night to see a game and that was without the luxury of a bus. People who want to do it will do it. I doubt the game will sell out though. Ive been to every game played at Blue Cross recently for Bonas and the Syracuse game is the only sellout. There will be a good crowd there based on the lack of college ball here and the large alumni base. I would bet 9,000 is a good estimate.
