2004 - High School Basketball: Terrance Grier is an athletic guard who is quick to the hole. He likes to play fast and at times was a bit out of control on forays to the hoop. However, with his quickness, he can get to the rim and is hard for defenders to keep in front of him.

not sure if its fair to judge ICarson so harshly.....(I also never saw him play) given the circumstances that he was asked to perform under.....changing positions from Shooting Guard to Point Guard, playing the position that is most challenging in relation to the change of level from HS to A10...etc, etc...
No doubt he has to come to preseason practice fired up and make some strides of improvement in his game....so I'm in favor of supporting him and look forward to see what he brings to the table this year and how he contributes.....

Sorry...didn't mean that to sound harsh. I was posing a serious question...is this a good time to be recruiting someone so similar to a current sophomore on the roster?

I was more referring to the general consensus of post in the last year (sorry!).....he has gotten his fair share (or more) of criticism....
In terms of recruiting; what is our strategy?
get the best available players with the highest potential? that would be my guess with position being the 2nd priority....
any thoughts or insight on this subject?
