*** Please Do Not Provide Comments In This Forum ***
I'm trying to keep this as civil as possible. I receive plenty of fan email and an occasional hate email but I would like to get a broader feeling of how I'm perceived. I know it's a tall order to ask you not to make comments (good or bad). If you feel you must comment, you can email me:

Just your vote is appreciated.

Yeah...okay...don't post a comment!!!
Fro...your problem is you're a broken record...you answers are one dimensional, shallow and hollow.
JVBK was a victim blah blah blah Jimmy Midnight blah blah blah Secret Society blah blah blah.
Here's the bottom line!! Your boy, your Dad, your whatever was clueless to a myriad of issues pertaining to Bonaventure and what makes it an enigma.
SBU has always had a love/hate relationship with the coaches, their recruits and their tactics. However inept or adroit they were as coaches always paled as to how they related and interacted with the fans either in town or socially after a game. JVBK just didn't get the 411 on this.
For this the tall slender one gets a big fat F.
If he was totally oblivious to the shortcomings of the welder (which flies in the face of the facts) and all the machinations around him were totally without his knowledge, then he gets another F.
He did succeed at one thing while the Bona coach and leader. He participated in the downfall of the program, he made quitters out of fighters and he brought doubt and criticism to a once proud program and more importantly the surrounding community.
You can choose to remember a road win against the defending national champions @ UConn (hell I was there and cheering loudly) but the hell hole he so deeply dug far obscures our view of that lofty height.
I'll choose to remember a 1977 NIT Championship and 2000 NCAA 2OT loss as proud Bona moments, both linked to a great Bona player and coach Jim Baron and there ain't a single person who reads this board that has a sliver of doubt that there was NO WAY such a travesty would have happened on his watch.
If the administration had offered Jimmy just a percentage of what they caved to JVBK for, we would have still had pride, tradition, continuity (perhaps another Baron and a Hollis on the floor together) and the University would not have suffered the way we have for the past few years and perhaps not have lost the life of one of its greatest supporters.
Naw your JVBK may have some accomplishments and proud moments in his life, but they don't include the some 24 months he slept walked through life in the Enchanted Mountains, destroyed the heritage and reputation of a University, a basketball team and the community who have unwaveringly supported it.
Yeah my vote counts and so too do my comments!!!

I do enjoy your posts....find them entertaining and with a provocation theme.....
but maybe you could clue us in on who you are, what is your relationship with SBU? what's up with your name? why do you feel you are some kind of enlightened expert? etc., etc.,
Why is there so much banter and uproar when you post?
"A need to know"....not really just curious....fyi- I'm from the class of 79.

Fro, good move asking the Bandwagon to comment on your postings. This speaks highly of you. You are willing to accept constructive criticism. I do read your posts, llike most of the other postings. Generally speaking I do not agree with your point of view. That's okay because that is what America is all about.
With that said I am not a member of the Secret Society (unless being a member of the Pulaski Club makes me one) and don't think that VBK or Wickie, for that matter, are saints. Both contributed greatly to the demise of the basketball program. VBK refusal to accept the fact he is partly to blame further fans the flames. Hey, as top dog the buck stops with HIS basketball program! Fro, this is where you come in. You continue to accept the fact that VBK should not be held accountable for his misgivings - no matter how small or large they are. Anyone, let me repeat, ANYONE who is on board with VBK or Wickie will probably feel the wrath and anger by many posters who live and die Bona basketball. Lets face it "the scandal" set back the university by at least five years and contributing to the demise was VBK and Wickie (although they probably thought they were doing a good deed).

It seems that Fro thinks he has some kind of an impact on this Board. Repetitive ignorance gets old. Yawn . . .

The objective is complete and all future votes will not be taken into consideration . Thank you to all who have voted. For those of you who care (and those who don't but are reading this anyway) be glad to know that I will continue to provide valuable insight to all that is pertinent on this board.
It is reassuring that despite the continuous attacks, not one person wanted me to leave. To my staunch supporters in the Olean community with "FroMunga For Mayor" signs prominently displayed in your windows and on your front lawns, I appreciate the gesture but if elected I will not serve.
Although I'm a bit disappointed that there are still 50% of you who haven't seen the light, it's a start. I can just envision the day when everyone has a severe case of Munga Mania.

Fro, I have a feeling even if everyone in this poll placed a vote for ".....leave NOW", you'd still be hanging around impressed with your own banter.

I don't know. Starting an entire thread devoted to the subject of yourself and your posts? The whole thing reads to me as a cry for attention.

...be glad to know that I will continue to provide valuable insight to all that is pertinent on this board. This bold departure from your normal musings might cause all your "supporters" to rethink. We may have to re-count the hanging chads. I mean Fro Dunger, providing valuable insight is an oxymoron paralleling jumbo shrimp/military intelligence in of itself and most laughable. Even Brutus Beefcake wasn't as enamored with himself as you are. Sing it Carly!!!!

Here's what is known or can reasonably be inferred: - He/she is skilled at rhetoric and logic; - He/she has a dislike for Wick - He/she either has a genuine respect for the former coach, or his/her feelings for the coach are not material in relation to his/her feelings for Wick
A Bonas professor perhaps?

I was waiting for someone to play the "Cry for attention" card. As much as I seem to be a lightning rod for some people to respond I wasn't sure how the majority felt. Believe me, if the overwhelming majority of people had voted for me to leave now, I would have. Heck, that would have even given you a reason to revoke my password. Furthermore, I asked that people only vote and not comment for two reasons: 1) I did not want it to appear that I was looking for attention or that I was trying to make this into my own personal forum. 2) There are a handful of people who feel they must react negatively to everything I post. I knew it would get out of hand so I gave them my email address so they could write me if they so inclined. That way everyone else wouldn't have to put up with it.
When it's all spelled out in front you, it's hard to find fault with my logic.
I would address the other questions people had asked but I'm afraid that might encourage even more of a discussion on this board.

Your logic is nonsense. In order to select the option that says you should leave a person would also have to say they were a card carrying member of the ss. I think the >50% that say you rarely if ever provide value to the Board or that they don't even read your posts is evidence enough. Frankly, I couldn't care less if you stay or you go, but your pro-JVBK stance makes you look like a fool
