Providence College released its schedule in this morning's newspaper. In the story, it's noted that PC is taking advantage of a new NCAA which allows team practice for up to 2 hours a week until the official opening of practice on 10/15. Does anyone know if we are using these short, but formal allowable practice times?

CONCERNING PRACTICE--THIS RULE IS NOT NEW THIS YEAR--EVERY TEAM MAY PRACTICE WITH COACHES 2 HOURS PER WEEK--YOU MAY TAKE THE PLAYERS INDIVIDUALLY,SMALL GROUPS OR THE WHOLE TEAM--YOU MAY BREAK DOWN THE ALLOTED 2 HOURS TO 10-15-30 MINUTES OR ANY LENGTH--IT IS JUST THAT PLAYER-COACH TIME CANNOT EXCEED 2 HOURS--WE HAVE DONE THIS IN THE PAST AND ARE DOING IT NOW--HOPE THIS ANSWERS YOUR QUESTION--
