OK, let the recruiting begin...
Jourdan Morris has opted to return to Eleanor Roosevelt (Md.) after spending one season under Stu Vetter at Montrose Christian. The 6-foot-6 1/2 senior didn't need much time to think about his college decision after returning to the school he spent his freshman and sophomore years.
Jourdan Morris took his first visit this past weekend to Olean, N.Y., and that was all he needed to cancel his other three scheduled trips. The 6-foot-6 ½ senior at Eleanor Roosevelt (Md.) High committed to Anthony Solomon and St. Bonaventure.
``It’s a good opportunity for me to play in the A-10 and get minutes right away,” Morris said. “I love the coaching staff, especially Coach Solomon. This was just a good fit for me basketball-wise and academically.”
Morris canceled scheduled official visits to VCU, Marshall and James Madison.
Morris averaged 12 points per game last season as a junior – his lone campaign at Montrose Christian (Md.). He decided that, primarily for academic reasons, to transfer back to Eleanor Roosevelt – where he went for his freshman and sophomore years.
``I really want to be a part of something at St. Bonaventure,” Morris added. “I want to help rebuild the program. They are losing three forwards next year, so I couldn’t pass up this opportunity.”
Morris brings an A-10 body and a versatile game to the Bonnies. He may not excel at any one aspect of the game, but he does a little bit of everything.
``I’m versatile,” he added. “I can go inside and out.”
Morris is St. Bonaventure’s first commitment from the Class of 2006.

When he talks about Bonaventure losing 3 forwards, I assume he is talking about seniors Smith, Dunston, and Lottin. I take it that Morris is a 3? Anyone have any other information?
