I don't understand why the Athletic Department is excluding the lady bonnies from legend’s night. I think the idea is great to bring back old time bona basketball players what i don't think is fair is that the athletic department is not holding anything for the lady bonnies. The have had a better record then the men the past 2 yrs. Every other college and university lets there women's team's participate in there midnight madness why aren't we letting ours this year??

Because no one cares. The past two years aren't enough to create legends.

I'm not saying they should have a legend’s night. All I am saying is they should get some attention to. they are suppose to be equal to men according to a law passes in 1972 called title IX. So why does this university not follow it?? and people do care about our lady bonnies. At least they aren't going out and getting arrested like half the guys team is and aren't having scandals or cheating on papers. they are good roll models and they should get rewarded for there hard work too

Are you comparing Bona's First Legends Night with Title IX? Do you even know what Title IX is? It keeps mens and women's sports on a level playing field. If the women's team wants to have a Legends Night, I highly doubt anyone in the Bona Athletic Dept is going to stop it. Title IX does not state that if one men's sport has a Legends night, the corresponding women's sport either has to have a Legend's night, or be incorporated with the men's. The women's team gets just as much as the men. Tuition, room and board, books, etc. When the men did the overseas trip, two years later the women went. And you can't compare wins between the two programs. One is on probation. The other hasnt been close to .500 in decades.
