Stony Brook has offered hard-working Adam Walker, a 6-7 forward. Walker, who played last season for Christ The King High School in Middle Village, N.Y., also has interest in Rhode Island and St. Bonaventure. Walker can beat up bigger forwards inside the paint with his strength. He makes a lot of big plays down low in the post.
Anyone know more about this guy?

Sounds like he may be someone the staff should really go after...if he can play in the A10 that is!!! Sounds like he wants to be a big fish in a small pond. "I kind of want to go to a smaller school," said Walker. "And be a big fish in a small pond. A lot of the smaller schools aren't calling me anymore, and they're surprised that I'm still interested in them. After my experience this summer, playing with Doc Nicelli I realized that you have a lot more fun on a team where you have a chance to play and standout." - Adam Walker has played well this spring and summer, The 6-foot-7, 190lb forward out of NYC looked quick, agile, and above all, self-assured. A long forward with quick feet who can score with his back to the basket, Walker is also pretty reliable shooting the ball from 15-17 feet. This is doing a post-graduate year at Northfield Mount Hermon School. - "Seton Hall came up here the other day," said Walker. "They said that they'd be sending the head coach up to see me this season. I'm getting interest from a bunch of other schools, like Rhode Island, St. Bonaventure, and Massachusetts." One local school left a strong impression on Walker when they came through recently. "I'm really thinking about Stony Brook," said Walker. "The head coach was up here the other day, and I was really impressed with him." - Stony Brook has offered, and Rhode Island has also extended an offer. Although he is receiving interest at high levels, Walker emphasized that he was willing to consider schools on all levels, and that he was open to interest from other schools. If he has his druthers, Adam would probably like to stay closer to home rather than further away. "It's not a big deal, but I think I'd rather be closer to home," said Walker. "You see, I have a twin brother, and I miss him a lot."

We definetely need a low post player coming in as a frosh! Looks like the coaching staff has some suspects lined up:
- Tyrell Lynch 6-8/220
- Corey Magee 6-7/200
- Patrick Behan 6-7/210
- Devon McBride 6-8/205
- Adam Walker 6-7/195
seems like Lynch is a longshot though; does anyone else have any inside info on other PF/C that are being targeted by the coaching staff.
We could use a blue collar bruiser type with some low post moves to protect our wings!
