Noticed a couple of players released from their LOI's and one transfer in this morning's news.
UWM released one-time Bona target Ryan Childress [6-9, 230] from his LOI, along with teammate James Douglas [6-3, 190]. New coach at UWM was cited as the reason.
Also, St. John's sophomore Melvin Tyler-Jones [6-9, 214] will transfer after this semester. He is also listed as just "Tyler Jones" on the scout.com website.

Childress would be a nice pick up for Bonaventure because he would be coming in as a Freshmen and would have 4 years to develop. There seems to be a lot of big men out there for Bonaventure to look at. It would almost be nice if we had 2 more scholarships to work with.

Interesting article about Childress and Cornley. news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050313/SPT0301/503130448/1068/SPTOn the next play, Cornley and Childress were called for a double foul as they were trying to establish position in the post. The second foul forced Cornley to sit for the remainder of the half. "(Cornley) lives off intimidation," said Childress. "We'll take the best shot from anyone. We're not intimidated by anyone."
