Does anyone know if James played this year? I can find anything on him. Maybe he has 3 years left!?

There it is... sweet Jesus:
Lex James, a 6-9 power forward, from San Francisco City (CA) to St. Bonaventure. . .
Yes JAC he did play. He has two years. Stats can be found on the internet.

I see Lex is listed just after Dave Fox going to Bonas. Maybe I am looking at it wrong, but doesn't it say Lex James to Rhode Island? I hope I am missing something!

Awesome!! Got to say this is a hard working coaching staff. Thought this last year's team had the least talent of any recent Bonaventure teams including those of the Ron DeCarli years. Next year's team appears to have some talent at every position as well as a lot of depth. At the very least we should be competitive. With the A-10 being so much stronger next year (13 of the top 15 players back), I hope that Relph will be available for the early season non-conference slate. We will need to pick up wins there. Can't wait for the season to start!

Very confusing - Big Apple say Lex James to SBU at the top after Jamil Lott and after Dave Fox at the bottom - Lex James to Rhode Island.
I am guessing that the top items are the more recent but I do not know.

Dave Fox, a 6-10 center, from Mercyhurst North East (PA) to St. Bonaventure. . . Lex James, a 6-9 forward, from San Francisco City (CA) to Rhode Island.
I hope I am looking at it wrong, but here iswhat I saw!
Please tell me I am wrong!

Yeah, he's listed on there twice. One says committed to SBU, the other says committed to URI. Anyone know what's going on with this?

FOX asked at the A10 board if any RHODY fans knew what was going on with LEX and they said despite the hard pushing of Coach Baron, URI's admissions denied LEX's entry there. I am assuming where JAC uncovered this is listed with the most recent on top and older commits towards the bottom so the URI commit is outdated. PLEASE, LEX QUALIFY AT SBU!!!! ;DTEXT

On the A-10 Board Fox asked what was up with Lex and the RI people say that despite JB's best efforts RIU will not admit him b/c of the GED. Sounds good for us.

If you refer to the Californian post, the URI commitment article is dated October 28, 2004. Where James is listed near Dave Fox appears to be Fall committments.

I emailed the administrator for that board where James is listed as going to St. Bonaventure. Hopefully he gets back to me soon and hopefully he can clear up that post and tell us where he got the info from. I'll update you all when he gets back to me. It is kind of strange though how eerily similar he seems to Jamil Terrell. Same type of athletic player, possible eligibility problems (although I KNOW we won't repeat that whole mess).

Read somewhere that Lex did not graduate high school. He most likely got his GED? Enrolled in Cali. juco because of less stringent enrollment policies. Hope he has all grades inorder. Love to see him in Brown and White.
