Sure was Chaz! Mike was class of '75 and he was all over the place all weekend. It was really a great time and he, in particular, told us some great stories! You should have been there--you would have definitely added to our fun!

Yes, it was ! He joind us at Angee's afterwards, along with Anthony and Tracy, Tom Stith, Matt Gantt, Chris Allan, the Rigoli's, Bob Sassone. We spun some great stories, and we might have Sass convinced to write that book he's always talked about. He's got some really great recruiting stories and other "Brown Indian Lore" !
Mike seems to be a DJ too - after someone complained about the loud 'modern' music on Angee's sound system, Mike reached into his coat and pulled out a couple of Frank Sinatra CD's that were much more pleasant to listen to.
It was a fun evening, as Matt was still relishing in the glory of his 3 for 3 night, all 3-pointers ! I told him if he had ever pulled up and shot a 20-footer like that in 1970 against Jacksonville, Weise would have had him on the bench so quick it would make your head spin.
But then again, that might have pulled Gilmore and Burrows out from under the basket and opened up the inside a little more. If only there had been a 3-point line back then, who knows what might have happened with Matt drainig them ala Greg Sanders !!
All in all, it was one of the most enjoyable evenings I have ever spent in the Reilly Center. I'm sure the Legends that were here are going to spread the word, and when they have the next one, it will be even bigger and better ! Looking forward to it already.

Keep working on Sassone to write that book, Fox. I've heard some of those stories from my stepdad (who traveled on many of those recruiting trips), but having them in print would be well worth the price of admission...
