If he has a 6-8 week recovery time (as speculated above), then Relph misses 7-9 games. He was going to miss 2 games anyway because of the suspension, so he would really only miss 5-7 additional games. Under this theory, he would still suit up for 19-21 games. I don't think it is time to jump off the bandwagon just yet. Plus, it will allow some of the younger players and newcomers to get some more quality early season minutes (Hawkins, Diggs, Carson etc.). Experience off the bench is always a plus late in the season.

I agree with Go Padres. He (Relph) will probably miss most of the ooc schedule but the added experience the newcomers will gain should help us in conference.

If he misses the whole season,he could appeal the the NCAA for an extra year of eligibility. He could still play 3 years for Bona.

Academically Tyler is a junior. If he is red shirted this year, he will be a senior before he has played a game for the Bonnies. He would still have 3 years of elgibility, but would he want to hang around for 2 years just to play basketball? He could start on a master program at Bonas, but is this something Tyler wants?
