This is what I have so far.
1 Smith, Ahmad G JR 6-5/195 2 Carter, Kern G SO 6-2/185 5 Lee, Michael F FR 6-8/195 10 Relph, Tyler G SO 6-0/185 23 Dunston, Wade G JR 6-4/190 24 Lottin, Patrick F/G RS JR 6-7/225 32 Carson, Isiah G FR 6-1/190 44 Williams, Paul F/C JR 6-10/230 Diggs, Terron G 6-0/180 Fox, David C 6-10/245 Hawkins, A.J. G 6-5/190 Kovacevic, Ivan C 6-11/240 James, Lex F 6-9/240 I know we still have questions with Relph and supposedly Williams, but this still looks like a scary lineup.
Midnight Madness should be pretty interesting this year. If 2-3 of the new guys pan out , then we will see quite a few more wins this season.

Oh and the only starting spot that I see as almost a lock is Ahmad's. Should be a lot of competition at all the positions.

Michael Lee was the Bonnies leading scorer for the last 3 games of last season. He averaged almost 17 points during these games. I've seen posts picking him to be starting at small forward, but I wonder if he has the ball skills for the 3 spot. Whether it is the 3 or 4, Michael deserves to be a starter. Hopefully Michael spends a lot of time in the weight room this off season.

At the Point, Relph, Carson, Diggs, or even Ahmad.
At the 2 Ahmad, Dunston, Hawkins, Relph, Lots of possiblities here
I have Lee as a possible 3 but this all depends on his off season progress. Other possiblities at the 3 are Lottin or Ahmad. Ahmad depending on the quality of the 1 and 2 gaurds Lee if Ahmad has to play 2 spot
At the 4 I would love to see James, all depending on how good he actually is. Or at 4 Williams depending on his status and how good he actually is.
At Center, Well we actually have a few possiblities here, Ivan, Williams, Fox, or even James if those three dont pan out. But I believe it will be Ivan.
Ahmad can play 1,2,or 3 . He starts at one of these spots definitely. The exact spots depends on the quality of our newcomers

Next years roster, this is what I see happening:
1-Tyler Relph 2-Wade Dunston 3-Ahmad Smith 4-Patrick Lottin 5-Paul Williams *1st off the bench is Michael Lee
I do not see any of the new guys starting right away, although P-Lotts position could be up for grabs since he rufuses to hustle on both ends of the court, therefore, Lee could start at the 4 and Lottin would be 1st off bench.
I believe AJ Hawkins or Ivan will see the most time, the guy losing playing time will be Kern Carter, only for defensive substitutions.
Let me know what you think?

This would seem pretty logical to start the season. However, As the year goes on I can see some changes possibly occuring. Other possible starter; Lee, James, Ivan. We need more size in the game. Especially when the A-10 season starts.
Expect lots of substitution again this year to start the season. We really need to find out who is for real for the A-10 season. Remember 7 of our 13 scholarship players have not seen a single minute of Game action for Bonas.

I think Carson will double his production next year, if not better, with the same amount of playing time as this past season.

I completely disagree with you. Carson is probably our weakest option at guard and will struggle to see the floor with Relph, Hawkins, Dunston, and Diggs all ahead of him. He's going to need a lot of work this summer to have a shot.

That would be my starting 5 also bonain2K6, each averaging 25-30 minutes a game, maybe as much as 35/game for Relph and Smith. Plenty of solid bodies to come off the bench too, and we won't lose that much.
If everyone [and everything] pans out, and given the much weaker schedule we have this year, and the fact that Anthony is in his third year as a head coach [more experience - learned from his mistakes].....I expect at least 15 wins from this group,

I see it this way; starters
Relph Dunston Smith Lee James
first options; Lottin(3-4), Carson(1),Ivan(5),Williams(4). I see 9 players playing 20-25 minutes. Sol loves to pressure and substitute freely.

seems like we have alot of depth with a few players capable of playing multiple postions....this will give the coaching staff alot of options...depending on injuries, suspensions, matchups, the opposition's defense, who is hot/cold, etc., etc.
based on following the team and players only through the internet...the following is my position thoughts: (starter first)
PG- TylerR, Diggs
SG- ASmith, WDunston,
other guards- ICarson, Hawkins, Carter
SF- MLee, PLottin
PF- PWilliams, LJames
C- Ivan, DFox
The starters? seems like except ASmith, the whole thing is in the air....(suspensions)..would be a huge surprise if Tyler was not the co-team leader in minutes with ASmith...
-thought that was an interesting comment about redshirting Fox....
I still believe that 10-12 wins is realistic with less than 10-underachieving and anything close to 15-just simply awesome!
I would also like to see a set rotation with players knowing there roles and given a chance to get into the flow....but hey maybe Caoch Sol knows something about his players we don't know.....if the talent level was not up to the level of A10-competition....the pace too quick for some of the players...it doesn't matter the level of your conditioning you will get tired more quickly...hence his wholesale substitutions...

I am very excited about the spring class the staff has brought in. There should be plenty of competition for playing time. If Tyler gets his problems taken care of he will be the starting pg, with Diggs and Carson battling for about 10 minutes a game. If Diggs is the back up I can't see Carson sticking around, he is very competitive and can play some where. Ahmad also is a sure starter, but at the 2 or 3? I am hopeing its at the 2 because hopefully that means Lee is a starter. This kid has a world of potential and if he gets stronger and continues to develop he could be an all A-10 type of player. PML had a very dissapointing year, but if he could learn what a good shot is, cut down on the turnovers and play some D he could also see alot of time at the 3. I do have a concern if PML is not playing alot he could become a huge distraction with his tendency to pout. Lets hope he accepts his role, what ever it may be. I have to think Lex James is the starter at the 4 if he is as good as his press clippings, Cinncinnati does not recruit stiffs and we all know power foward is not a word we have used to describe any Bona player in along time! I envision the center as a two headed monster with Ivan and Williams being a huge step up from last year. I am also very excited about the addition of Hawkins, long term he sounds like he could be the best of this years class. Now that it looks like Sol has some horse, it will be interesting to see what our style of play will be with all this depth. I personally hope it will be more up tempo because guys like Relph, Ahmad & Lee will thrive in the open court. I can't believe what a difference a good spring singing period can do for ones outlook. I am actually optimistic about next season, I never would have said that a month ago!

who would blame ICarson if he transferred after next season especially if he was the 5th or 6th guard buried on the bench...getting less than 10-minutes a game..
the bottom line is he had a chance this season, ok in a tough situation, he has a chance to make some improvements/adjustments in his game this off-season....
If he is buried on the bench and decides to do what's best for him, get into a situation where he will thrive, then it opens up another roster position to upgrade....i.e. LJames for BGibbs...
It is my hope that he sees the opportunity and challenges himself to be the player he was recruited to be, does the hard work and comes in next October and turns some heads, shakes things up in regards to playing time and contributes to a 15-win season....it would be better for the program that he earned more PT-over for example WDunston...especially considering he has 2-more years....and with Smith & Dunston leaving...
is his game suited for the A10?...is he an undersized SG or Power Guard with limited range on his jumper?
