That's a great road win for a team that was a 10 point underdog and missing their starting point guard.

Congratulations to the Bonnies on a great A-10 road win. Boy, what a way to snap out of their recent doldrums. Coach had them ready to play without Ray. Eleby was solid. Did we just witness the awakening of Mo as a team leader ? He sure was a beast. Great effort and heart displayed by the TEAM. The bench looked alive again tonight, like it did early in the year. Great job guys.

An absolute joy reading all these posts after the losses.
Watched the game on all access with the Spider announcers. They had lots of praise throughout the game for what they were seeing from the Bonnies. Comments like: “No team has had as this much success pounding the ball inside against us.” “They just won’t go away.” “They just keep attacking the hole.” “Mentally Tough” and “In years past they would have just gone away.”
Down 7 within 3 mins & then go on a 11-0 run is incredible. The D was incredible especially Nicholson’s block of Anderson’s seemingly sure drive for a score. Our D got it done.
Looking forward to the first hand accounts of 454Dev & others at the game. In Mark’s post game interview he said that “Tonight we became a team.” Sure looked like it in the final minute in the way these huddled together & played tough. Fantastic win!

Funny story. I went to the Sabres/Hurricans game tonight at HSBC Arena.
Our seats were right below the press box, and as I looked up to the booth with Rick Jeanneret and Harry Neale, low and behold, standing in between them was Adam Bennett, the Bona PA Announcer whom I've spoken with a few times at the RC.
In between the 2nd and 3rd periods, I got his attention and he came down and we followed the SBU/Richmond game on his Blackberry. Our entire section turned into a Bona cheering section in between periods. Unfortunately, he had to go back up to the box before the game ended, but it was fun nonetheless.
Bennett said he wants to get into play-by-play announcing after graduating, and through Bona professor Paul Wieland, who hired Jeanneret, he received the opportunity to watch the game with them. For the record, he said Jeanneret and Neale were very nice people.
Just thought I'd share that story from here in Buffalo. What a great night for the Bonnies and Sabres both!

winning on the road was basically impossible w/ Sol, but now they're 7-0 w/ Schmidt! unbelievable.

Career night for Grease: 28 mins, 25 pts (7-9), 11 boards, 11-14 from the stripe, 1 block, 1 steal, 1 assist & only 1 TO.
For a poor shooting FT team we seem to make them in pressure situations & tonight we did it without Ray showing the way. We went 9-9 in the final few minutes when each one was needed. Once again our resiligency showed preventing the Spiders to score a point within the last 3 mins. In crunch time down 7 inside 3 mins things looked bleak. Then we make all the stops without fouling. The Professor's block, on what looked like a sure layup by Anderson, was HUGE. We go aggressively to the hole, don't turn it over, rebound the missed shots & Matthews makes the game ending steal.
Our team D was the game breaker keeping the #2 A10 shooting team to 41%FGs & just 31% treys. Way below their season averages. Also our success going to the hole the 2nd half was awsome. As a result we got to take 23 FTs after only taking 1 FT the entire first half.
As coach has said many times, we must win by working hard inside & rebounding. We are not going to win games with treys & that is why we take far fewer than other teams.

Team was definitely committed to getting the ball inside tonight. What a luxury to have 2 big guys that can score in the paint! Great team effort.
Matthews keeps us in the game in the first half with 4 big buckets and even shows he can play a little point guard.
Davenport comes of the bench in the first half and plays great D and grabs 5 rebounds.
Nicholson gets going quick in the second half and keeps the game in reach.
Thomas does everything and most importantly makes his free throws.
Eleby was pressured all night, but did a decent job getting the Bonas into their offensive sets.
Hall was Hall. Too many turnovers, but kept the game interesting down the stretch. He never quits on a game and that is a great attribute.

For the first time watched the game on All Access. Only regret is it took me so long to subscribe. Watch games from my laptop for $10 a month is well worth it. Agree with WGT the Richmond announcers where very complimentary to the Bonnies. Comical hearing them discussing Schmidt's sale job in recruiting Hall from sunny Miami to Olean. Comments to GoPadres interesting and mostly accurate post. 1. Team not only dominated the paint, but also beat Richmond in transition. Numerous easy buckets at the start of the game. Whenever Hall gets the ball he is off and running on a fast break. Nicholson and Thomas are becoming a dominant duo in the post. Not only did Thomas score 25 points he also led the team with 11 rebounds. He leads the Bonnies in 4 double-doubles. Hall and Nicholson (both with 1 ) are the only players with a double-double. 2. Thought Matthews was solid playing the point. Surprised to see how well he could handle the ball. 3. Davenport needs to work on his shot, but he certainly makes things happen when he is in the game. Incredible 5 rebounds in only 15 minutes. You realize he has the best assist to turnover ratio on the team. Agree with everyone, he is deserving of more playing time. 4. Not sure Eleby is deserving of praise for this game. He had 5 assists to 4 turnovers. Unlike Hall's 4 turnovers, they are not turnovers from attempts to create. They are from poor decisions. Malcolm's off balance jumper at the end off the game was unbelievable. Just thankful it did not cost us the game. 5. Do not understand the comment "Hall was Hall." Sure Hall leads the team in turnovers (17 more than Eleby) but his turnover is from the fact he makes things happen. Hall's turnovers come from aggressive plays to the hoop and on fast breaks. You realize Hall has more assists than Eleby. Wonder if there is another D-I team in the nation that has their small forward with more assists than the point guard.
