I read the final grafs, and I still can't believe that he's actually with our team...

Tom Stith called, he wants to know how it was Bob Lanier who put the Bonnies on the map.

Tom Stith called, he wants to know how it was Bob Lanier who put the Bonnies on the map. Yeah, I liked that one, too. Of course, Bona was on the map long before Stith, but I'm willing to accept Stith as a nominee. You will notice that this piece was written by Jerry Sullivan, who I assume to be our great friend at the Buff News. He's never had much good to say about Bona, nor has he ever been particularly accurate. (Although I will give him credit for taking an instant dislike to JVBK). Then again, judging from the tone, most of his work seems to be written while he is suffering from acute reflux.

I read the final grafs, and I still can't believe that he's actually with our team... Why? What's so hard to believe about a top notch big man playing for an Atlantic 10 school. This is the attitude we need to change. We shouldn't be in disbelief that a kid like Andy is on the squad. We should expect to land players like this.

In fact, this originally ran as a column in The News, written when he was in town for the St. Joe's game: www.buffalonews.com/opinion/columns/jerrysullivan/story/549832.html
