Am I the only one who feels a bit uneasy about numerous posts regarding incoming student athletes and their possible academic/grades situation??? A students grades should be kept as a private matter as best as possible. Here we have some recent quality signings of players and all we see are comments about their degrees/grades. Isn't this a great welcome to these players and their family members that likely now read this board ? What happened 2 years ago has NOTHING to do with these recruits or these coaches or this AD or this College President !! So lets not use the past or a 'need to be cautious' for a reason to comment publicly about a students academic standing. Ofcourse these current coaches are well aware of the past and have given no indications of cutting any corners...

Amen. Let's try to avoid the constant nay-saying. The "Holier than thou" crew on this bored is growing tiresome.

Well said JH. Speculation about something that a writer knows nothing about is not helpful. I for one would like to offer a great big Bonaventure welcome to all the new recruits and their families! Thanks for selecting St. Bonaventure!
