The fourth freshman, Lisandro Ruiz-Moreno, from Argentina, spent the session setting everyone else up and doing little shooting. A lefty, looked to be as billed, a pure point guard who would rather pass than shoot.
Sounds a lot like Pepe Sanchez

Let's see what Lisa has to offer against the likes of Ogo Adegboye before anyone compares him to one of the most prolific guards in A-10 history. That's unchartered territory.

Let's see what Lisa has to offer against the likes of Ogo Adegboye before anyone compares him to one of the most prolific guards in A-10 history. That's unchartered territory. Lottin compared his game to Sanchez and not his talent. Much like ESPN stated the following "Ruiz-Moreno has good vision and passing skills, doing an adequate job of finding open teammates and getting them the ball in position to score. He can make the one-handed pass with his right or his left hand, a la Steve Nash." ESPN is not suggesting he is as talented as Steve Nash. "A pure point guard who would rather pass than shoot" is an accurate description of Pepe Sanchez and being from Argentina only helps with the comparison. Also agree with Lumsdn, except for the pure point guard description, it also is a good comparison to Malcolm . Enough with semantics. Lisandro is a 3 star recruit from Rivals and originally signed with a Big East team (Miami). Following comment indicates Lisandro is one of the Rams better recruits "Ruiz-Moreno is an interesting signee, one who could contend for immediate playing time." It will take 4 years to find out if he is as talented as Sanchez, but right now he appears to be a solid signing for Rhode Island. sports.espn.go.com/ncb/recruiting/tracker/player?page=briefingroom&recruitId=72468hoopsblog.projo.com/2009/09/rams-add-a-wing.html
