;)Nice to see Matthews hitting those 3's, Nicholson as always dominant on the boards and scoring. Lets wrap this trip tomorrow night with another big win against home town favorite Illinois State. I sense a road sweep for the Bonnies. Conger showed some offensive life too. Go Brown and White!!

In addition to Andrew's career night we played great team offense. Rare we have a 1.86 A/TO ratio. Some amazing performances: Hall 7 assists to 1 TO & Michael 8 assists to 2 TOs. Loved Andrew's backdoor pass to Davenport for a score. Wonder how we will perform against a far stronger opponent tomorrow afternoon.

Does Michael Davenport's athleticism and all-around game remind anyone else of David Messiah-Capers besides me?

Is it too early to say we're turning the corner? By that I mean we're winning the must win games.
When we picked up Davenport late, an XU fan pal of mine said we were getting a special player. Indeed he is so far. He seems to play a little bigger than Capers - maybe a morph of capers and Garland Mance?

Indeed he is so far. He seems to play a little bigger than Capers - maybe a morph of capers and Garland Mance? Not only WINNING the must win games, but absolutely DOMINATING the must win games. If you ask any coach at any level, when you're building a program, you need to get to a point where you are extremely confident you can beat any team that's below you. If you beat the teams that are below you, and you compete against teams in your conference, you'll be competitive overall. Even last season, we couldn't just beat the team's below us. We had a bad loss before Rutgers in the Jersey Tournament, and no one needs to be reminded of the Canisius game. I know it's early, and we still might have a hiccup or two, but it's great to see that our guys are easily handling teams that we should be. To me, this is the clearest indication that our program is back.

Im right there with you Coach. Capers/Caswell v Dav/Professor. If we can somehow find Winn/Shandue/Greene.....we'd be dancing!
