Guess we will be watching him in the final 4 next year....if he lasts that long.
Class 2005 forward/center Mario Boggan of Durham-Southern Durham, NC/Oak Hill Academy, Va/Hargrave MA, Va/Florida/St. Bonaventure/Chipola CC, Fla., chose Oklahoma State over Texas A&M, South Alabama, Mississippi State and USC, among others. The Cowboys recently signed guard Jamaal Brown of Chicago-Westinghouse, Ill/College of Southern Idaho; and forward Torre Johnson of Milwaukee-Juneau, Wis/Garden City CC, Kan.

Boggan may be the one that finally puts old Eddie Sutton over the edge and into retirement!

Is it curry on OSU who was a convicted drug dealer? He will have a new client in Mario. Isn't there a clock in college basketball on how many years you can be eligible. This is his 4th school in 4 years.

You would think that this would throw up a red flag to the NCAA. I mean Curry gets dismissed from UNC and Boggans, well he has many tails. Something really stinks in the NCAA and unfortunately they do not like to go after the big schools as hard.

The major colleges like UNC and Okla St. have all the $$$$ to be able to pull off what they figure is worth the risk. The NCAA is a microcosm of our nation (or, even bigger, our world). The "rich get richer".

Maybe Mr. Harrington could write about how SBU dropped this kid at the first sign that he was bad news. Or would his spin be that we should've given him another chance?

Harrington would never bring that to light. wouldn't want to give Bona's credit for doing something right.

What did Boggan do to get booted from the team?
I'm an OSU fan who wasn't aware of his stint with the Bonnies. We're a bit gaurded about taking anyone with any sort of character issues after all the negative publicity we encountered after JamesOn Curry enrolled - even though he's proven himself to be a good student and nice kid.
I only found out about Boggan having been kicked off your team through Gregg Doyel's column on sportsline this morning.

Basically Clintb Mario Boggans was running a drug business out of his dormitory room. Boggans was caught with massive amounts of "pot". He was kicked off the team immediately. Super star player that we needed bad

Were the police involved in the dissolution of this drug business?

Not that i am aware of, i think this matter was handled internally. I am sure curry and boggans will become best friends

OK, so I guess my question then, is where can I find any verification that Boggan was involved with drugs while at St. Bonaventure. Is there any news story I can find, any legal documents, etc...?
