Vouyoukas will be a huge test for Paul tonight on the boards & scoring. He will also severely challenge all penetration with his shot blocking ability. I’m hoping we can check down on Lidelle their 2nd high scorer guard but watch out for Drejaj hitting those treys. He has the 2nd best trey % in the A10. Our recent problems scoring may be further challenged with the Bilikens good D. Pat is overdue. Go Bonnies! Drejaj is out I love bonaventure basketball with a passion, but i don't see the team being able to keep up with SLU. All stats aside did anyone see St. Louis play UNC? Sure they lost by 12 but i can recall times in that game where it seemed SLU was dominating. I know UNC is a young team and many people think they are overrated, but SLU showed promise. we had a 21-0 run against wvu where i say we looked pretty dominating against a better team. SLU does not have a quality win this year, they played tough teams kind of close but they did not win any. They are not a good 3pt team which is our major defensive weakness. Bonas wins by 9.

On a somewhat game-related note, I've had the displeasure of listening to our last four games after being treated to the first seven in person. The last four games have reminded me of one thing: how absolutely terrible Gary Nease is.
The man makes listening to Bona games a painful chore, at best. He so very obviously knows so little about the game. Rebounds and made baskets lack players, while balls go out of bounds and are inbounded without explanation. Fouls are frequently committed with Nease not having a clue as to what has happened. Keep a mental tally of media timeouts if you wish to have an estimate the time, because Gary rarely tells you. Ditto for keeping your own score, as well as keeping track of who's even in the game.
Personally, I shy away from posting anything negative on this board, but with all the bickering that goes on here I am shocked nobody has pointed this out. Here's a fair warning.
Also, St. Bona 66, Saint Louis 57. Go Bona's.

Thanks for the heads up on Drejaj still being out. We can then focus our attention on Lisch from beyond the arc. He throws up a bundle of treys. At 6'10 & 270 Ian the Greek will be a mountain for Paul & company to contend with inside.
