Evans Supervisor Facing DWI Charges Feb 05, 2006 - The Town of Evans Supervisor is facing DWI charges. State Police tell Seven News a pair of troopers pulled Robert Catalino over for speeding early Saturday morning along Route 5 in the Town of Brant.
Police say their tests showed the town supervisor’s blood alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit. According to Sgt. Bill Galloway of the State Police Catalino was transported to the Collins barracks after the field sobriety test, processed and released on tickets for DWI and speeding.
Catalino has served as Evans Town Supervisor since the late 90’s. His father previously held the post. Catalino is expected to appear in Town of Brant court later this month. His attorney will reportedly have a news conference Sunday.

I have no idea who this person is, but is this the proper forum to air someones' dirty laundry, especially when it has nothing at all to do with basketball? There has been no conviction and you appear to be unsure as to whether this person is who you think it is.
Then poster #2 decides to bring up another alum's name that may have absolutely nothing to do with this DWI case.
I think posts like this are highly inappropriate and should be deleted.

Is this a double standard, sneakers? Noone seemed to object to giving everyone a blow by blow description of every b'ball player and his/their role in alleged activities at Club 17 all fall long. You speak out on this...did you speak out when Ahmad et al are being bashed by R.I.P.really and others for their alleged role in fights, drinking, etc.

faculatybrat:
Frankly I believe that a blow by blow description of any aspect of the personal life of a basketball player off the court is unwarranted on this Board and I have never contributed a post that does anything like that. That said, this is a Board whose purpose for being is to discuss Bona’s basketball. If the activity that the ball player is engaging in has a direct impact on the program I can see why someone might post it here. However, please tell me what the above post has to do with the purpose of this Board. I know this Board contains a lot of crap that is unrelated to basketball, but at least most of it is not slanderous. This kind of talk appears to be to be gossip more worthy of a bunch of old bitties sitting around drinking tea than it is a basketball Board.
Cleve,
Actually, I was at a hockey game last night and missed the Superbowl and I am always “regular”, but thanks for asking. Just think for a moment about how you would feel if your name or your family member’s name was bantered around on this board in connection with a crime that you may or may not have been involved with. I think you would likely be outraged. Perhaps the gentleman whose name you threw out in connection with this indiscretion feels likewise.
