Lavon wants to major in business with a minor in psychology. Wants to play in a competitive environment and have balance between books and ball....A school thats not too big or too small with good student support...A place that he can reach his potential on and off the court

And again I say...he belongs at SBU...Andrew Nicholson can attest to the face that you can balance books and ball, he will be in a competitive environment, these coaches have proven they can develop people, and we have GREAT student support...just hope we're not too small...

Plus with our new business building being built and one of the toughest confines in the a10 lavon would get the best of both worlds at st. Bonaventure.

To the parents and friends of Lavon Long, St Bonaventure is the right choice to make. He will get a quality education and play Basketball on one of the biggest stages in America. If he wants to go Pro the table is set, Wherever his journey takes him he will accomplish great things after living here in the Enchanted Mountains. He has a chance to become a legend at Bonaventure not just another guy that played at USC or Stanford. (quick who was their starting Forward three years ago? You don't remember do you.)
The other good thing is that Lavon will be able to relax here. No Cholo's and you don't have to worry about a car load of guys driving by real slow. Good clean air, no smog alerts. No Sig alerts - you wont have to fight the traffic on the 91 the 5 or the 605 Freeways. And yes, we have a GREAT Mexican Resteraunt and burgers just like In & Out. Or, I can come and cook for him!
Its honestly just a GREAT place to be.
Next time your in Town lets go for a walk !

This was my post to Dion Wright. It holds true to Lavon Long, its honestly just a GREAT place to be. Next time your in Town lets go for a walk ! I can guarantee his mom will see this! ;D Guess that just serves as proof recruits/parents do research and trash talking players can hurt in recruiting. As for these burgers like in and out, I must have missed those, where are they at? Hope you arent referring to Burton, they have their own category of burgers!

I know that I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer, so would you please explain to me and this Bandwagon were the line has been crossed or is it just what I posted?

socal, if you posted anything directly to Dion while he was being recruited, that is technically a recruiting violation since the NCAA would consider you to be a "booster". I'm not saying you did, I just inferred from what you wrote that you might have.

Impressed with the chart I just saw that Bonnies is only School in A10 that had 0 150 players and 0 3 star recruits on roster and won the championship. That spells coaching and development ....Good Look

That spells coaching and development ....Good Look Thanks ppc. It's good to read an "outsider's" opinion. There are a lot of fans that would say that shows a lack of recruiting. Personally, I think some of the disadvantages SBU has, has been used against them by other coaches in the recruiting process. But the truth is SBU has a very good staff and has been able to get the very most out of the players that have decided to attend Bonas. I also think, recently, this staff has been able to illustrate the advantages SBU has to offer. It really is a great community and allows kids to play basketball at the highest level in the nation while being allowed to truly be a student. PLUS, having a player selected 19th in the NBA draft doesn't hurt!

Plus, I don't believe that any of the international kids, including perhaps the Canadians, are generally included in these ratings services.

I really dont like the ranking service but I see most fans live by them...the best coaches find the talent with their own eyes..the service can give you a tip but the coach should check it out IMOP...
