Kyle Alexander is going to make some school real happy. He has put in so much work since he joined us 2 years ago and it shows in his testing. @athleteinstitutebasketball with @repostapp.
・・・
Orangeville Prep's 6'10" @kylejamal4 Alexander utilizes his 7'4.5" wingspan & crazy bounce to max out the Athlete Institute Vert Test, recording a 9'1.5" standing reach, 12'4" max reach with a 38.5" vertical http://instagram.com/p/z4zArIHFWe

Those measurements indicate he's grown an inch & added 1/2" to wing span. That length with those hops is a sn impressive athletic package.

SHAKIR BROWN'S JUCO career ended yesterday as Angelina, leading most of the game, was knocked out in the semi final game of Reg XIV.
Hampered the entire game with fouls (had 4 with 15 mins left in the game)he was forced to play tentative on both ends. Finished with 15 pts on 5/14 FGs, 2-8 TREYS & 3-4 FTs. Far from his shooting & rebounding norm. Had 6 rebs, 3 assists & 2 TOs.
In his 31 season games his stats were
20.3 ppg, 48% FGs, 37% TREYS, 74% FTs, 10.8 rebs, 2.7 assists, with a 1.56 A/TO ratio. He has a knack getting others involved, is extremely unselfish with the ball and showed team leadership. He is leaner than he has ever been with a powerful body.

I love this quote from the article:
Woods, well, we know how that story goes. The future Bonnie is relentless near the basket and has a soft touch within a few feet – not to mention his frightening defensive presence.
Schmidt's kind of guy!

i hadnt seen this kid's name associated with SBU...sounds like he would have been a good pickup
Kenan Guzonjic is Boulder bound, according to Max Ivany, his former club basketball coach. The 6-foot-8, 225-pound Guzonjic has been on Tad Boyle's radar since his senior season at El Paso (Texas) Cathedral High two years ago.
Guzonjic has three years of eligibility left to play at Colorado. "He went to Midland Junior College out of high school and then he got injured this year, so he decided to go back to Bosnia, where is originally from. He got himself back in playing condition and it was in essence a redshirt year," said Ivany. "He'll come to Colorado with three years left to play."
Guzonjic averaged 8.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game as a freshman at Midland Junior College. He accepted Colorado's offer over other offers from Southern Miss, Stephen F. Austin, Louisiana Lafayette, St. Bonaventure, Georgia Southern and Lamar.
"He is a tough, hard-nosed international kid," Ivany said of Guzonjic. "They play a different kind of game in Europe. It is a different type of skill development when they do their skill academies and they dedicate several hours a day on fundamentals. He is very skilled for a guy that big. He is not athletic like a traditional American but he is athletic enough. … He'll be a face-up four-man."
"Coach Boyle was high on him when he came to see him," he added. "I feel pretty confident in saying this kid is going to come over and have an opportunity to contribute."
Stay tuned to BuffStampede.com for more information on Guzonjic and his commitment to Colorado.

Schmidt's kind of guy! That fact changed as early as the first second-half possession. Woods tallied up 13 second-half points and the majority of his rebounds due to an undersized Colt defense. You really can't tell how good he will be.... See below from the article "That fact changed as early as the first second-half possession.
