I hope we get Zelis, or some other legit 5. I am very worried about what we're putting out there in the middle next season with Ndoye and Dees gone. We're not in a league that's driven by big guys, but having Wright and Gregg as the starting 4 and 5 next season doesn't sit well and Tyson hasn't shown us anything. I don't doubt that he may become a player for us, but I don't want him as Ndoye's replacement yet.
At the moment, Zelis is the only guy we're listed as involved with who is over 6'8".

I wouldnt just discount Tyson like that. Kid has some skills and our coaching staff has proven to be able to coach up big guys.

Can you take scholarships away? Xavier Smith / maybe J. Adams.... yeah, you can NOT renew them, but that's not good business...can and will tend to destroy recruiting in the future, when other schools start selling that by going to Bona's, they might recruit over you...and take away your scholarship...NOT SMART AT ALL

I agree with Tom. Parents and student athletes need to have a certain level of trust with the coaching staff. Student athletes usually request to transfer if they are unhappy with thier role on the team. Not renewing scholarships is a bad practice and now with social media news of this practice can spread to a large audience rather quickly. Not smart business IMHO.

Exactly right - he is 6'10 and espn upgraded him to a 3 star recuit - he played on a top national prep team and played every day against USC signee Jabari Craig. Crazy to even think of writing this guy off..

If those players do not work out they need to do something about lower the % of players that do not contribute at any level. I guess we will see.

I just don't want him to be the only option we have as a true big man next season. I hope he becomes an option as a true big for us next season, but I don't want to go into the year thinking that Jordan Tyson needs to play 25-30 solid minutes a night for us to be successful.

You won't know till next year.... We definitely need a solid shooter... This year we were 226 in the nation in field goal percentage...

brownindian11, I believe you are correct, the staff was involved with CULLEN RUSSO for awhile but I believe he was a Coach Massey recruit. Recognized a few other names that the staff was allegedly involved with preJUCO: AUSTIN POPE, KEDAR EDWARDS, & NOVIAN CHERRY.
