NYCBonnies - you are the guy in the meeting that is going to "bring reality to the situation", tell it like it is, "be real". Ultimately your act wears out and everyone tires of the constant "realism". We've seen your act a thousand times and it doesn't play well here (or anywhere really). But thanks for the dose of reality because god forbid we enjoy one of the best comebacks we've ever seen from a Bonnie team. Oh, and by the way, you go out there and perform at their level first, then maybe you can accurately comment.

The funny thing is this isn't even nycbonnies being realistic. Duquesne is 262 in the RPI and 241 in Kenpom, this doesn't mean that they don't have the potential to win a game in conference on their home court no less. If you think you are just going to waltz in there and kick their butts then you are dreaming. Ask VCU if it was easy to beat Duquesne, or how about URI. They both had to escape Duquesne with a victory. How about Depaul beating Seton Hall last night. Seton Hall had a 89% chance of winning that game last night and they lost. Things like this happen, it is college basketball. I can't remember the last time the Bonnies had an easy win at Duquesne. I'll take a victory down there any day. I don't care what either team is ranked.

Lets see how they play against URI... It will show a little more if we can beat them.... I think we will have a hard time, but maybe

I don't think we will beat URI. The one thing we do have going for us is they stink at 3's. I have watched a few URI games and they really don't have many guys with good shooting strokes, so I think we could be okay here. The one thing I don't like is who is going to cover EC Matthews. He is a lot like Bremby in that he can do everything. I guess we will see what happens Sunday.

any win on the road in the a-10 is a good win. plain and simple.... George Mason last year who lost in the play-in game at the A10 Tournament took #15/16 Umass to overtime, beat richmond, and took #10 SLU to overtime........ lost to FORDHAM in the play-in game.
Bottom line, Any road win is a good win. I dont care who you are playing

Duquesne is a bad match up. They're very good at shooting the three, we're pretty bad at defending it. I would prefer to see Bona's put up a huge win over a team ranked so low, but I can see where we struggled.
Also, Adams tied the program record for assists in a game. Who cares who he did it against, that's incredibly impressive and he did it with zero turnovers.

Funny someone mentioned Seton Hall's recent loss to Depaul above. The game before that SH lost to Butler. Coincidentally Georegetown just beat both Depaul and Butler in this past week. It was easy because they are bad teams.
Bottom line Seton Hall should fire their coach! They need to get better players!! They are really, really bad! They lose to bad teams. Depaul is barely .500. SH was favored by a lot to Depaul and lost. They are terrible! very bad. Time to get a new coach.

Congratulations to Jay on player of the year honors. I thought it would be fun to reminisce. When a player is special, you notice it immediately. It was like that with Nicholson. It was the same case with Jay. I’ll always remember a game he had as a Freshman: www.sports-reference.com/cbb/boxscores/2015-01-22-duquesne.html14 assists. 0 turnovers. Game winning jumper in OT. Consummate floor general. Fast forward to present day, and Jay is one of the best guards in the country. A name that still not enough people are talking about. I think Jay has a realistic shot at 2k points. This team is capable of a deep tournament run. Lastly, I’d like to thank Jacksonville University. Jay was set to be a Dolphin before they fired their head coach. He rererouted to Olean and the rest is history. #NotDoneYet
