YN is a man on a mission with 5 blocks in the first half. Bonnies still turning over too often but lead 35-25 at half.

Good half, maybe the best of the year. Now, PLEASE, no more second half drama! I want to watch some football and just need to check back to the Bona game without worrying and having to listen constantly

What a game for the Big YOU! Any road win is impressive, the team is coming together and with Buffalo on deck they need to be on the same page.

46% FG,76% FT, won the assist, turnover, rebound, and blocked shot battles...maybe that'll shut the trolls up

Well going into the game we looked better on paper & executed accordingly.
A 15 point win that had us up 23 with just 4:21 left. A solid win against a weaker team.
Post game Coach Schmidt said they were focused on getting Youssou involved. They certainly accomplished that with by far his best game of the season & a career high 23 pts. Our inside game was the difference as we scored 40 to their 20 PIP and Youssou dominated the paint on D. Lots of positives to point to.
Few negatives, but there were 10 first half turn overs AND a 27% trey shooting team knocking down 41% from beyond the arc. The TOs were addressed in the locker room & we had only 5 the 2nd half. However, defending the trey continues to be problematic as it was last season. Pleased to see the PGs went 8 assists to just 3 TOs. Alston’s 4 As & only 1 TO in just 13 mins is a fine job of distributing.
Andell has turned in some fine performances in spite of shooting poorly. Today he provided a complete package hitting 6-12 for his 16 points, 5 boards, 3 assists, 4 steals & 3-4 FTs. Last season he struggled from the stripe at times but this season he is 20-24 for 83%. Important to see that conistency since he is 2nd to Posley in getting to the line.
UB will be a tougher test so I'm hoping we build on the positives we saw today. Can't wait to get Denzel back on the floor.

Pleased to see the PGs went 8 assists to just 3 TOs. Alston’s 4 As & only 1 TO in just 13 mins is a fine job of distributing. Iakeem played some great defense, too! He got great position on their guards and forced quite a few charges....Jay Adams played quite well but was dogged by fouls...the fourth foul he got seemed unjustified and he was very annoyed by it but he really stuck to the point guard like a glove and got called. Jalen Adams (4) didn't get to see the floor much after the first ten minutes...why, I'm not sure but maybe he did something the coaches have been preaching for him not to do and was made to sit....Still would like to see him in the open floor. Inside, we played well passing the ball around between Andell, Dion and Youssou ending with some nice slams.... Of course, Niagara was quite the young team with no seniors, one junior and the rest sophs and froshs and quite small. BIG test against the Bulls on Wednesday. Again, we could use Denzell, especially defensively against the Bulls as their middle men are going to be a handful for You and our front line. Their freshman PG is amazing too and it would be nice to see Jay Adams (10) take on the challenge and put the man in his back pocket...
