15-3 Bona surge in last 4 min of reg decisive...zero Duke field goals in that span. Posley saved the Bona bacon tonight. A fab game. This young man can "score the basketball."

Mr. Sip, it makes you wonder how in the name of Sam Hill could they lose to the likes of UMES and Delaware when they displayed the fortitude and brass stones to get the job done.

What did I post earlier about Cumberbatch? I should put that kind of mojo on the entire team and we would win the NCAA championship. I am the Bonnie fan who admits my B-Ball knowledge is very limited, case in point evaluation of Cumberbatch this evening.

Here's an amazing stat -- Bonas actually finished with a higher 3-pt pct mark (52.2 to Dukes' 50). Duquesne only 50% at the line very costly.

What a great team win tonight! It took a lot of heart and guts to comeback from the horrible first half. I am proud of our guys. Hopefully this win can bring our guys closer together and give us some momentum going forward.

197 points in this one. Nobody bothered with the, the ... what do ya call it ... defense.
But you can't say these guys don't have tenacity. Down 15 in the second half, and to storm back? Ferocious.

Posley's line: 12-20 FG, 8-11 from 3 (yow!), 4-5 from the stripe for 36 markers. Lost behind Posley's effort, how about a couple of these lines: Ndoye - 20 points, 15 bounds, 4 blocks, 2 steals, 1 Assist, 0 turnovers Jay Adams - 15 points, 14 assists, 0 turnovers Gregg - 9 points, 5 boards, 3 blocks, 1 assist 1 turnover

Maybe our young team grew up some tonight. I hope so because I aged about 10 years.

Glad you mentioned Jaylen's assist effort -- that to go with 15 points makes for a solid double-double. And Ndoye came to play in the 2nd half and OT and Bona needed every one of those points and boards.

Can't even lie- I had a whole post written for a loss by late in the 2nd half. Trying to save time so I could see the wife...Well, I had to delete all of it gladly. We will have something on the game tomorrow....Wow. What a win. Color me stunned. www.thebonablog.com
