I fail to see why anyone on this board still responds to FirstDev and his tin foil conspiracies. Everyone realizes they are feeding the troll, right? I can't wait for his 3 paragraph diatribe on the socioeconomic impact of reopening Bradner stadium and bringing back leather helmet football.

Ah, yes if you can't win a debate, just cut the process off. Typical of the corporate flunkies and assorted sycophants of Sneakers. Bottom line Sneakers is responsible for TK, he selected him over an alum, he failed to retain Steve, and he failed to orient him to the culture and tradition of Bonas Old Saint Bonas. In fact its all about money and greed. Something anathema to our Franciscan way of life. Students, tradition and our campus mean little to cut throat operators. Sad. So let's see who takes the blame for this fiasco.........Sneakers or some underling who will fall on his sword. Sounds more and more like the State Street Bank. Right?

Is that the Bradner Stadium next to Ft. Duquesne?

Someone fails to realize the debate has been lost...the seats are going in, and the students will now need binoculars to see the extra 18 inches, and megaphones so the team can hear them....yawn...instead of wait and see, let's just continue to put TK on full blast for very little reason....yeah, THAT exemplifies Franciscan values

FD - I honestly have no idea what you are talking about. I selected TK??? State Street Bank??? Are you tipping a few cold ones during the afternoon??
As with the vast majority of posters here, I'm all about helping SBU to succeed. Perhaps doing more than just complaining is the way to go. Try it.
By the way, when you initially joined this Board you had at least two other screen names you posted under until the Board's administrator called you out on it. You would post your rants and then make it look like other posters supported your views when in reality it was all you. You have zero integrity. Good luck with that. I would be too embarrassed to return to this Board if I were you. Yet you have the nerve to attack the integrity of others.

Everytime I read a firstdev post I cringe. Anyone known if there is a block user feature on here? I need to stop reading his nonsense. i, for one, don't like the "block" feature...what i find most upsetting in the comments being said by the one who is most criticized on this board isn't what's being said, but the tone...i happen to agree with some of the points that have been made, but the tone has absolutely ruined any chance of those comments being considered seriously, especially by those who have "blocked" that poster's comments...case in point: the comment was passed that all those new buildings haven't help to solve the problem of declining enrollment...you know what?...i agree with that assessment...at the same time i agree with someone else who commented w/out those new buildings, our enrollment crisis might be worse...i agree with that, too...for all of us who love the brown and white, we have to realize that everything isn't black or white...a lot of good stuff is posted here...however, sometimes you have to read the post 2 or 3 times or overlook the snarky tone to find it...'even a broken clock is right twice a day" is my rallying cry...so i would encourage everyone to read everyone else's post...you may stumble upon that 1 of 2 times in the day when they're right...

There are three pretty funny things going on in this thread:
1) FirstDev's posts in general. "Fort Duquesne" is now part of bannedwagon fabric as much as "Congers" and "hot dogs that spill out of the bun". 2) Those that call out FirstDev for being a crackpot, tinfoil hat wearer, and then, for some reason, finding the need to defend themselves against accusations brought up by that same crackpot. 3) Not only has FirstDev lost all of his own credibility (a given at this point, and likely his goal in the first place), but he's also dragged the credibility of anyone who comes close to agreeing with him through the mud.
A Trump-level troll job. Just brilliant. I'll go back to the sideline for now...or maybe about 1.5 feet past the sideline.

How many inches away from the court do I have to go to find a hot dog in the RC that exceeds the outer edges of the bun?

Do Duquesne students refer to their administration building as Fort Bonaventure?

Let's see how the amended student seating plan works out in actuality. If it turns out to be obviously broken fix it for next season. This with the caveat that if TK screws up again THIS season he needs to be let go.

Sneakers and his loyal seconds on this board continue to miss the point......we are stewards of the Bonas tradition, this is not his private banking institution where he can fire those who disagree with his dictatorial edicts, and level new accounts fees to generate even more profits for the few and greedy. We are attempting to preserve a way of life, tradition and the all important Franciscan culture of assisting the poor, sick and needy, a concept apparently lost on the Sneakers crowd.
What we have witnessed in the TK seating fiasco is the gross use of power, unlimited arrogance, complete lack of appropriate communication with our community and the great money chase that is worshiped as gospel. Students, alums, prospective students, who cares, this all about the money, cloaked in the intellectual fraud of safety and phony A10 demands (not one shred of evidence exists that the A10 sanctioned Bonas in any way, shape or form over court safety).
Its sad and disturbing to see this arrogance displayed on the altar of the money changers. Its sad to see these folks actually disparage our highly esteemed former AD, its same folks who are eager to throw our hardcore student fans overboard, the same folks who gave us the Bona World and the Hilbert Fantasy farces. Oh did I mention his fantastic record on frosh recruitment - down 54 this year alone. The goal of 500 frosh now a disappearing figure in the our rear view mirror. Quite a record!
Sneakers has a lot of "saplaining to do" to our community, as they say in the Enchanted Mountains...........

Sneakers - I just spoke with ThirdRobrules and he sends his very best regards from his secluded redoubt cabin deep in the wilds of the Enchanted Mountains. He would like to participate in the free and open debate, but he donated his only computer to the local Catholic school.

I have to laugh at the continued comedy of the commentary from a certain poster. But, I do have to say that , of all the posters on this board, Sneakers is likely the best steward of Bona's tradition, and best steward of Bona's future.
